I always enjoy leaving positive reviews for local businesses who provide exceptional service with a personal touch. However this is not one of those reviews. My experience with Farmers Insurance and Tanya personally was devastatingly bad and in my opinion criminal. I switched my car insurance to farmers for both my personal vehicles with coverage to include initially myself and my now ex-wife only. The cost was higher than my previous carrier however originally the plan was to bundle with home insurance policy which didn’t work out. All was fine initially and shortly after policy started I removed my ex as the divorce finalized . The problem occurred when Tanya and Farmers added my two children (who were excluded in the original policy I signed) on to the policy and then back billed me for those additions. My adult son hasn’t been on my insurance in over a year and lives in a different state, and my trans daughter who does not drive due to psychological issues(also as a slap in the face to her they used her birth name which was legally changed, so technically the person they added doesn’t exist). By the time I was notified of these changes via snail mail it was evidently past the date that Farmers designated was a cut off to remove them, and remember, remove 2 people who were originally excluded from the policy and only added back on later by Tanya. When I initially called Tanya and asked why my monthly bill went from $144 to $538 she explained that I had failed to sign documents they had sent but she would resend them and once signed the problem would be resolved and the price would go back to the original $144. I had emphasized on that call that I wanted to cancel the policy ASAP if they could not undo there self generated additions. I e-signed the forms that day and returned them and trusted all was well. On 12/5/24 Farmers and Tanya withdrew the $538 from my bank(leaving me overdrawn on several other bills) and refused to rectify or offer any sort of refund. When I spoke to Farmers corporate they could not see or provide me any evidence that I had been notified of the addition of the adult kids. I have no email record, no voicemails from Tanya prior to their deadline date or even after addressing this issue. What I do have is an email from Farmers after i initially signed all my policy documents congratulating me for completing all the required paperwork. I had spoken with Tanya on several occasions regarding my policy, my ex wife being removed, etc and not once did she say anything about this increase in the premium. I’m an OTR trucker who is only home 10 days a month, and explained to her initially how important it was I get notified via voicemail, text, or at least email of any issues with my policy. So Tanya dropped the ball, it happens to the best of us. But rather than getting this resolved she turned to lying about having called me several times about this and texting. None of which is on my call/text logs on my phone. As a trucker my phone is my lifeline and any calls would have been returned immediately. My previous insurance company I had been with for over 30 years and never had a single issue. Evidently a gecko is way more honest than Farmers and this agent in my opinion.

Human nature is we don’t speak out or tend not to share unless we had bad experiences. I’ll go against the grain a bit So let me share my experience as an investor moving several houses a year. I have worked with Tanya and her team the past couple years and have had nothing but an outstanding great experience. From start to finish. From adding polices/filing claims and canceling policies. Top of line service. Highly recommended especially if you’re a real estate investor.. Tanya will go out of her way to make sure satisfaction is met. Can not speak highly enough for her and her team.

I was with Nationwide for 30+ year before switching to Tanya and I couldn't be happier! I had no plans of changing, but I bought some land that Nationwide would not cover (oil/gas well on property) so I was forced to shop around. I have now been with Tanya now for 3+ years and she has saved me thousands on home, auto, camper, & motorcyle. She is always looking for the the best value & coverage for my situation. I highly suggest you give Tanya a try, even if you think you are happy with your current provider you might be suprised. My only regret is not finding her sooner!
