Mark responded immediately to my needs and got me set up with a new policy within days. Mark is very knowledgeable about insurance and was very patient listening to all that I needed to tell him to be sure I was getting what I needed. I trust his advice completely. I was with Farmers before and Mark was the same way then, but I left because my rates were raised more than I thought they should. I came back to Farmers because of Mark and because he was always there to help whatever I needed. The other company was not. Prior to calling Mark, I tried a whole week to talk to an agent there but had to leave messages about the problems with the receptionist.... when I finally did get to speak to one on the last day, she not only had other clients in the room with her but had not taken care of any of the problems I had been conveying all week. Mark has been our agent for many years. We have actually followed him from another insurance company. Mark has helped us SO much!!! He is one of the most personable people we have ever dealt with. My husband lost his job a few years ago, and Mark not only worked with us to be sure our policy stayed active despite our financial situation, but also was so encouraging and supportive through such a difficult time for our family! Mark is a the type of agent that will go out of his way to take care of you! I followed him from the previous company he worked for only because of the customer service he provided. Mark Crotty is an excellent insurance agent. I used to be with a different insurance company that I was quite happy with. I made Mark work for over a year to get my business, and then he saved me almost $1,000 a year. Had I realized how much he was going to save me, I would have given him my account immediately!

I have been very impressed with how quickly Mark always responds. Most of the time he answers the phone himself, and when he doesn’t, he is always back to me within the hour. He can answer most questions from the top of his head, but when research is required, he does it quickly and get’s back to me.

After switching to Mark, his customer service was so good that it worried me a little. I was thinking, “I’m saving $1,000 a year and my customer service is outstanding. What’s the downside?” I was worried that the first time I made a claim I would get screwed.
I had the opportunity to find out sooner than I expected. A leak in a pipe going into my water heater caused damage in three rooms, some of it major.

Not knowing what to do, I called Mark. It was mid afternoon. He immediately started a claim for me and advised me to contact some water damage mitigation experts ASAP. He provided me phone numbers of two companies would come out the same day and that he felt were reputable. The claims adjuster called me within the hour and we set up an. Mark followed up with me on the same day during after hours to make sure that the water mitigation experts had contacted me and were on the job.

My appointment with the adjuster went much better than expected. He showed up on time and was very professional. I was worried that he would nickel-and-dime me. Instead he found things I hadn’t even noticed. For example, he pointed out a particle board bookshelf that had absorbed a small amount of water at its base and made sure I was compensated for it.

In the end, instead of being nickel and dimed, we were restored to slightly better than before the flood.

This isn’t the end of the story however. Two years and 9 months later, I had another leak very close to the original leak. This time it was a pad leak about three feet from the previous leak. I was terrified that I was going to be thrown under the bus since this was my second water claim in less than three years.

As in the previous claim I contacted Mark and he set up a claim and recommended some water mitigation damage people to me. The adjuster contacted me within 15 minutes. When she came out, she took the same approach the previous adjuster had. The reimbursement for damage will cover everything that was damaged and in fact leaves us slightly better off than we were before the damage. Although I’m still in the restoration process, I’m confident of a good outcome.

Mark Crotty and Farmers Insurance have been like Costco. They’ve provided me with a consistent high-quality product and fantastic customer service. On my recommendation, my parents and my sister have moved to Mark Crotty as well. They report a similar experience to mine. When my daughter had to buy car insurance for herself I also recommended Mark to her. He has done a wonderful job of teaching her the ropes of buying insurance.

I am a discerning customer. I seek out good, honest, and reliable people and vendors to work with. I have an excellent mechanic, chiropractor, doctor, massage therapist, and handyman. They have all come to me by word of mouth or extensive research on google. After many lesser experiences with their competitors, I am glad to have found them.

Mark is like them. I’m glad he is my agent. He is knowledgeable, honest, and very helpful. He is as good as it gets. I don't believe you could do better then Mark Crotty, but I know you could do a whole lot worse.
