Why would you want to give money to a man that talks like this? There’s a million agents out there. Choose better than this.

I’m sorry if you feel this in an inappropriate review, I felt your comments to a stranger were beyond inappropriate and completely unprofessional. Since you feel this isn’t the right place for me to make that known I went ahead and forwarded your comments to Farmers directly just to make sure these actions fall in line with their goal to only have ‘Americas Best Insurance Agents’. Hopefully you feel that’s more fair to you.

I've been with Farmers a long time. So far I've not had any problems with them. They used to do an annual meeting with me which I though was nice. It was to make sure I was getting the correct coverage for the right price. Since changing hands though, I haven't been notified to make the annual pow wow.

We haven't had the opportunity to meet him but we've talked on the phone several times with him and he's been professional and good follow-through.
We had a leak over the last couple storms

the people that were to keep us informed haven't but we could count on him to direct us and to follow up with the people that were supposed to call and it is appreciated..
We are going to meet him next week to discuss our policy and see where they stand on fixing the leak that we've been waiting for for almost a month... Again it was not his job but he went out of his way to follow up for us and explain the situation

BAD EXPERIENCE

My insurance policies were transferred to Elias Latour because he bought the business from the previous insurance agent. I had to do some transactions with them but they did not seem to know what they were doing so I cancelled my two policies out of frustration. For months afterwards they hounded me for my business and to renew. Again months later, I was contacted by a collection agency stating I owed them $45.06 and that I had been sent to collections. This is not a good way to make friends and expand your business. Unfortunately I am unable to recommend these people. I have had to spend a lot of time on the phone trying to get to the bottom of the situation and why I owe them $45.06 after I cancelled my policies. This is very bad business and very bad treatment.

I've had to contact Elias a few times in the past few months. One time I needed to add insurance to a new vehicle I had purchased. Another time to discontinue insurance on a vehicle. The last time to change details on one of my policies and all three times it was a quick and painless affair. He is very courteous and professional. Thanks, Debbie Osborn
