Terrible customer service and keep raising my rates without a notice. I have tried contacting my agent to speak and is never “in office right now”. The front desk is very rude and give you the turn around and have the nerve to raise your voice at you after explaining your concerns.

My agent is fine but the adjuster assigned to my claim of four months ago has not treated me as if I’m a valued customer. From the beginning he treated me with indifference and intimidation. That has continued. He argues about payment of justified expenses and has made this experience even more stressful than it already is. I can’t recommend Farm Bureau after this

Not felon friendly AT ALL. I tried to get insured with farm bureau through a family member that was insured by these people for years. They rejected me because of my felony. Fine, plenty other insurance agencies out there. Well a couple months after i got rejected they KICKED my family member off of the insurance policy they had for years because of MY FELONY! How is this legal? What does my family member, who was just trying to help me out, have to do with MY conviction? I did the crime and the time, not them. Either way if you are looking to get insured, and you even know about someone that was in jail a long time ago you’d be wise not telling a Farm Bureau agent because they will kick you off the policy. Farm Bureau does not care about felons.

I thought Farm Bureau had my back after 15 years of faithfully paying premiums, never having a claim, and having the same agent. Wrong! When my house accidentally burned and was a total loss, I found out that I had the 'wrong' insurance. After 15 years of major investments, remodeling, and improvements, as well as property values skyrocketing throughout the 1990's, I was still insured for the very same amount that I purchased the house for as a fixer upper in the 1980's. This was the kind of monumental financial loss that one cannot ever recover from financially in a lifetime, especially as a single mom. So, if you do choose to use Farm Bureau, you must learn the insurance business and terms enough to know to ask the right questions (such as being covered for 'replacement cost!') and not just trust your agent. That loss has been quite a few years ago now, but I still cringe and want to cry when I remember what happened to me and my kids when tragedy struck and Farm Bureau and Mr. Calvin Tackett had completely mismanaged my insurance policy and coverage on our home.
