When a storm came thru and ripped shingles from my roof, an adjuster came out - before looking he told me it was likely be declined. Surprise... declined. My realtor is my agent's mother-in-law... she said it'd go thru, but it didn't. She also convinced me to switch from my current insurance to her son-in-law at Allstate - mistake. I guess I'm not beyond gullible.

I have had a pleasant and less than pleasant interaction with Mr. Fischer. At first super friendly and helpful guy but when something went wrong and I needed to make a claim I asked a question about the policy and expressed my confusion with how he explained a part of the insurance plan and he became super defensive. I did not have rental car coverage because I thought the plan was written differently. My partner and I both misunderstood Eric’s explanation but when we asked again he was only defensive and finger pointing not at all helpful or compassionate. After expressing my opinion to him and writing a 3/5 star review he called me to tell me he records all phone calls, further explained that there is absolutely no way he could ever make a mistake and requested that I change my review. Eric cares about his public appearances and is not a 1 star agent but is not a 5 star agent based on resent interactions.

I am disappointed because he seemed like a helpful understanding person and he did explain a lot to us but there was one part of the policy he did not explain as thoroughly as we needed. Eric could not fathom the idea that his explanation could be confusing. Rather than trying to see the situation from the clients side he was quick to tell me I was wrong. Telling me you have thousands of customers and don’t need my business is not what you say when someone just had their car stolen and they are trying to figure out what to do.

I am torn on what to do now? He has descent rates but I don’t know if I trust him anymore?

So far Eric was real helpful when I got my house he made sure I got coverage to make good god forbid anything freak happens.i we t with allstate because my grandpa had u and seen u were real effect with any claims from what I remember.i hope that still is same. And the state farm guy got real short with me and u answered the phone right away that means something.noone wants to call and be spending money and get a recording or answering service..make u feel like nothing and u didn't do that.customer service is very important to me and I was in same most of life and seem now people don't care .cheaper is not always better if the service is terrible.do be those kinds people...I don't use Facebook or other social cause it's mostly fake .
