So far I'm not to happy with the customer service, app or banking experience overall. I opened a new account and had to wait 10 days ( 7 business days) for my money to be available. When it finally was Im still unable to use it and don't know why as I can't get in contact with anyone. The text number that is given via the automated system is incorrect, I had to look it up myself. I was told a bank manager would reach out to me and I have been waiting 5 hours. The app will not allow me to register even though my information is correct. I finally decided to call in and have been waiting on hold for over 53 minutes and counting... After over an hour I was told nothing could be done about the problem as the account is new. I will changing banks as soon as my money is released to me. I thought Chase was bad.

Customer service is so poor, call to ask simple question at end of the day and after 15 minutes of waiting it goes to call center, due to Palmdale branch closing at 2 PM. Does anyone really wonder why members are pulling out in droves? This CU used to be a respectable institution in the AV, now it is a fine example of how NOT to run an organization! Stay away from this institution if you want some form of Customer service, better service on accounts, better interest rates and the feeling that you are important, not another stat for tellers. BEWARE, NOT A GOOD CREDIT UNION

They made a huge mistake by taking money out of my savings account to pay off a car loan that I asked to be paid off with another account and they took no responsibility for what they caused me. They said they would listen to my call, although they made me feel like they didn't trust what "I told them"; I had to wait for their response. Since they didn't, I had to go myself and now they say that "they did the right thing"!!!! That is incorrect!!! What is wrong with them YOU SHOULD NOT TRUST WHAT THEY DO!!! THEY ARE NOT HONEST AT ALL!!!!!

Now I know why I left EDFCU last time. I opened up a checking account online because im working 12 hour days and cant go in. The last time I tried to go in person on Saturday, I sat 45 mins in the waiting room to start a checking account, no one else in the room or in line. Someone came and looked at my name 20 mins in on the check in list (btw, everyone else on the list was crossed off but me) and then she walked away. I walked out. I saw you could do it online, and I needed an "out of sight out of mind" account as my primary account is at Logix. Logix, by the way, had everything done in an hour. I signed up, put in Logix info for the "funding" and waiting for the ACH microdeposits. They never came two weeks later. I emailed and emailed and got the response "right now we are not able to transfer from other accounts" so I get hit with the -9$ fee, no funding, and no warning the ACH is broken? Then I get a random text to verify my address and that my account is now "funded." but no funds are in there, No withdrawls from Logix. I now try to make a check deposit remotely because, as I said, I cant make it in durning the week. It took me two trys to get the check images approved, the camera function is VERY picky. It now says approved, but still on the third week, no funding available, hasnt been pulled from my bank. I did get the fee reversed, wasnt paying 9$ for their slow business. Still no debit card. I will HAVE to go in on Saturday and take time off work anyway. Just was warning, dont expect any fast service at this bank. I remember having a student loan check I had to depost and use for classes and they said they wanted to hold it for two weeks, wen I needed to pay now as they didnt issue the checks until week of classes beginning. Best to always deposit cash in this bank, no checks or wire transfers. As of today, still waiting for funiding to show up and my debit card to arrive. Dont offer service for online unless it works!

I’ve been banking with Edwards for 6 years and my family has been for over 10 years and we truly love how their banking system operates. Love the members life insurance and low rates and the customer service is great.
