I've had mixed reviews with insurance in the past. I had one I really liked early on, but didn't offer homeowners so I switched when I bought my first house. The switch to another company assured me I was in fact, not in good hands, when a tree fell on my house. It was a terrible experience, so when I was able, I started shopping for a new place.

Doug won me over from the first phone call. I spoke to roughly 8 different insurance companies that day, but Doug came through as a pretty honest person. He helped educate me on some different things I didn't know about insurance, and offered reasonable prices.

I'm not sure how many years ago that was, but I'm glad I made the change. He and his staff have been great, and I haven't even had any claims that require much from them. When prices change, Doug sends a personal email prior to the change so it's not a shock to me. Some times it goes up, some times down, but I appreciate that I don't feel like an account number to the staff here.

I've not had to make a major claim yet, but I feel confident that if something ever happened, this group would help me out. Highly recommend.
