I've been here since 2017 and I'll be closing my account as soon as I can. Not sure what happened with the move, but since these guys popped back up on Tremont it's been an absolute nightmare to bank with them. I don't mind the new location other than its much more inconvenient to get to, has a creepy feel, and has what seems to be half the customer service team. I'm constantly being locked out of my account and unable to get ahold of anyone to help me out. I've asked them to block fraudulent transactions, they don't, and then they charge me overdraft fees on top of that. I can tell the actual face-to-face employees are trying their best- it seems like something is happening to the business as a whole. Are y'all going under, or what?!

30 to 45 minutes waits to speak to a representative over the phone is unacceptable. It never used to be this way, your cuts to roll profits to the top is failing you. I will be leaving for Navy Federal as you wait there for a matter of seconds 24 hours a day. Been with you guys almost 20 years, hate to see needless cuts costing you customers.

Worst credit union ever had my account here had to close it’s for some reason I came back to open a new account the supervisor Carolina she open my account with restrictions They should be thankful I had came back with them But no, she restrictive my account with Server things on my account screw that I honestly came back because I thought it was a really good credit union but no who’s gonna wanna count with restrictive things on their account specially that they block Zelle this credit union wants business. There’s no way they’re gonna get business if Supervisar get restricted with some accounts that’s ridiculous.

Not specific to this location but cannot just review the Credit Union of Colorado as a whole, but about 9 months we were seeking a home equity line of credit. We got the application filled out all necessary files uploaded and received a response from a loan officer. They provided us with several option and rates one of which was favorable to out banks/cred unions so we elected to proceed.

We expressed our desire to proceed with the lowest rate and worked with the credit union on the remaining next steps including appraisal to get this in motion. At several junctures in this process the loan officer confirmed the rate and terms with the loan officer and everything went fine through underwriting. The day prior to close we get the final disclosures and numbers from the credit union and it includes a higher rate than previously noted. We bring this to their attention and the loan officer to her credit admits the mistake and that the initial rate disclosed and advertised was incorrect and that she had made an error. The new rate provided did not meet our needs and was higher that competitors so we elected not to proceed but in the meantime I was out a month of my time, we had to delay starting on our project to pursue a loan elsewhere and I was out the monies for the appraisal. I asked for a reimbursement for this appraisal to which I never received a response. Complete bait and switch. I have emails and other communications highlighting what I mentioned above but would never recommend the Credit Union of Colorado to my enemies let alone my friends. Shady AF.

No complaints here. The phone service is always helpful, whenever I have to come in to actual location they help me and are quite friendly. They've even gone above and beyond to help me when I had issues with something specific. Also- side note... I dont think the tellers or management were involved in the decision to move to the new location so maybe you can give 'em a break from now on about all that.

Unfortunate that the managers have to take blame for this review.

Around 5 days ago my account was locked after 1-2 attempts of trying to log in to my account on my dad's computer (wrong password, mixed up). That's fine, I don't mind the security. They gave me options to unlock my account online (good luck ever trying to talk to a person).

Yet when they ask "How would you like to recieve your confirmation code?" there is literally 0 options to select email, text, phone call, etc.

That's fine, it was the weekend so I left a message on the site. Haven't heard a response back, account still locked. It's now 5-6 days later and I can't access my bank account.

I dont have a big account, but I am from Colorado. Credit Union of Colorado has been good, but this a joke. I'll be taking my money out after the day I leave this review (July 4th) and going to a different chain. I'll also let all my Colorado friends or anyone thinking of using CUoC of this situation. If I had a $1 million in my account I would have got a call immediately. But because I'm a lowly social worker you guys can afford to lose my business. I've been a customer there since I was 18, I'm 34 now.

Bye.

Edit: They did send me an email on Monday July 1st. They apologized for everything and told me to call the #. A number I've called 3x since Monday but couldn't talk to a person to unlock my account.

I don't understand the complaints about the new location. It's Denver, guys, are they supposed to pick a location in the most gentrified place possible? Anyway, I have been with this bank since I first got a debit card as a teen. They have always been extremely helpful and kind in every way possible, regardless of the location I visit (I have moved around Springs, Broomfield, Denver, etc.) I love these people, I love the convenience and easy UI of their mobile app, and I love this bank. I will never be leaving.

I don't understand this new location, let alone like it or find it convenient. Will there be an influx of new business to replace the old? I've been a member of this credit union for over a decade but I think I should start looking for a new home for my cash flow (meager as it is).
