Awful, worst insurance company carrier ever denied my homeowners claims repeatedly. This fig tree of an insurance company will wither and go into bankruptcy due to class action lawsuits. Don't believe the commercials/advertising, except the mayhem portion Allstate is mayhem and looks to deny claims. I canceled my auto insurance and will soon cancel my homeowners what a ripoff. Believe the reviews with a 1-star, the 5-stars are either employees, family or friends and are flat out lies!

I like good customer service. I refuse to settle for less. Especially if I'm spending my money. I have no tolerance for it . I know people surf for new insurance companies every 5 to 6 months or so, for cheaper rates and or better customer service. I have not been able to complain about their customer service. That's why I'm here. Way back when, when there was an incident. They came to my Aid promptly. And because of which. I am still a customer.

I have been with this company for a little over 10 years and it has been great. Whenever any issues or problems occur I call them they walked me through everything. All of my questions were answered and everyone was professional and knowledgeable.

Allstate was exceptional. I recently had a leak that caused significant damage to my home. I called Allstate and they sent one of their trusted vendors out to assess the damage. They took care of everything from disinfecting, dehumidifying, demolishing damaged materials to sealing the sewer line and installing new drywall (mudding, sanding, priming and painting) and new flooring. I was displaced for over a month and Allstate covered my hotel expenses. I am extremely pleased.

I had a bad experience with this particular branch of Allstate. I do not believe it is the fault of our Agent, Fritz, as he was most helpful when ever I had questions, but aside from him, we did not have a good experience.
It was fine at first, we got a great quote for home and auto, but as soon we had signed up for auto pay, the communication with them really dropped off. Part of the home coverage was a required home inspection from an Allstate representative. At no point were we ever contacted to conduct this inspection. Which brings me to my first complaint, at no point had we ever given anyone permission to enter our property, yet in the report (which we were entirely unaware of until months after the fact) they showed pictures taken from our backyard. We never scheduled an inspection, nor did we give that particular inspector permission to enter our property. I believe that is trespassing.

Second, at no point were we informed that there were discrepancies noted in that inspection. Not once. We did not know it had ocurred nor did we know the results of the inspection.

Third, we found out about the inspection when I called one day to get some coverage information, only to find out that Allstate had cancelled our home policy, without ever informing us of the cancelling. We never even had a chance to address the issues noted in the inspection. This is when we learned about the inspection. I was not pleased with this information. Our home had gone uninsured for at least a month and we had no idea. Allstate never contacted to tell us about the inspection, the discrepencies or about our coverage being cancelled. VERY poor customer service.

Fourth, when the coverage was cancelled they let us know we were being refunded roughly $950.00 in the form of a check via mail. We were informed it should have arrived by then, since it had been mailed out about three weeks prior. We learned they sent it to the wrong address. They sent it a second time. Never came. Finally, the third time, took about three weeks but we finally got it.

Needless to say, we wished to move on from Allstate, but they made it incredibly difficult to contact them in order to cancel our auto policy.

I do not advise using this company.
