I strongly recommend choosing any local financial institution over Canvas.

I have regularly paid 5-10x the minimum on my loan and never been late once on my payment, except for this last month which somehow didn't get scheduled properly. Of course they immediately put out a hit on my credit and then on the phone state that I need to file a dispute and they cant do anything about it. Absolutely insane that for being not only on time for every payment but also the sheer amount I pay over their minimum they do this on the first instance. Steer clear of Canvas

I have had an account with some form of canvass for 30+ years. I sadly opened an ENT credit union account today. The check hold policy at canvass has made it extremely difficult to plan for things like paying bills on time. The problem is not the policy but that it appears there isn’t a policy. Check holds can vary from a few hours to 7 days. I have asked the manager and have been told a policy of vague time frames but if I ask them personally to release a check "maybe they can.". It is difficult to plan for the future if you do not know if your money is available in a few hours or a week.

Never got an auto loan from canvas.

Such a joke I refinanced and they held the check for two plus months and didn’t cash it.

Weird … I’d cash a check for 53,000 if I got one. They just want to keep your loan and not release it.

I’ve paid about $600.00 in fees and interest due to their in willingness to cash a check.

Banking may be fine.

Auto loans stay away! It’s a joke to say the least

The company had a computer glitch so my husband's direct deposit was deposited twice today. He thought it was his company so he goes to the bank to pull out the money and they said oh it was a computer glitch. So here it's been 4 hours since they have taken out the whole entire amount and left my husband with nothing
paycheck back on the account. This is beyond ridiculous. I am so disappointed in this bank and we just moved over a month ago and this happens. Why the hell would they have to take out both direct deposits when all they had to do was take out one. Our mortgage was already sent out or HOA was sent out and now we're in the negative they tell us 1 hour and it's been 4 hours. It was a mistake to go to this bank

I have been banking with canvas for over 2 years, and they are a wonderful bank. Jeffery was absolutely wonderful today and the best customer service I've had in a long time. Not only did he help me quickly and efficiently, but he helped me set up a money marketing account that I've been thinking about for months. If I didn't speak with Jeffrey today I probably wouldn't have opened it for a while. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been with canvas credit union for a while. I was a member when they were public service credit union. I have felt welcome and felt comfortable with the branch.
Unfortunately recently I didn't have the best experience.
I had received some inheritance money from family.
Jeffrey Beal was too aggressive on up selling products.
I didn't liked his pushiness.
It was funds to do what needed to do.
I didn't his need guidance when I said no.
He gave my contact information that I didn't authorize to a financial advisor me from another branch.
I went back to put some money in a CD.
Again, he was pushing me on a credit card with points. He said it was free money.
I have had issues with credit card in the past.
He stated I could pay my car payment which my husband pays.
I have been really ill and needed to do business with canvas.
I wasn't happy with your associate Jeffrey Beal.
He needs training on customer experience and not doing a hard sell.
