I have to tell you, not impressed at all with California Coast Credit Union! I went into Cal Coast today because unfortunately, I needed actual printouts of my checking account for court tomorrow.Being a member of California coast for 16 years, I was told "$3 a statement". I explain the teller that I was in Financial straights and that is the main reason why I am going to court tomorrow. After pleading my case with the bank teller who then relayed the message to the manager. His decision was he would wait 3 months of statements . But I would need to pay for the remaining nine if I wanted the full year of statements . What you're saying is you want me to pay $27 for 9 months of statements which are only a page or two long in black and white? If I have the capabilities to do it myself or if I had $27 to spend on 12 pieces of paper I would have downloaded it and printed it from anywhere else! What a crock of suckiness from you Cal Coast. Thank you Mr manager you're above and beyond customer service really shines today. Good luck with your life.

This Hillcrest location is fantastic, they are always patient, helpful and go out of there way to show me how to set up Cal coast things on my phone. Very nice people.

I've been to many many banks this is the best bank ever. They've always been very very helpful in giving me credit and for my banking!

I opened this account to use as my "fun money" account where I deposit cash from sales of my artwork so I don't dip into my main account at another institution. 3 times in 2 weeks I have been out and used my card and it is declined. So I have to call to have it activated again. They say because it "seemed fraudulent" so they block it! The second time it happened I was told a new card needed to be issued because it had been cancelled because of a "unfamiliar" on-line charge. My choices were wait 7 to 10 business days for a new card or go into a branch to be issued a new card. I guess I can only use my money for things they deem as "familiar?" What a joke. Not only to I have to face the embarrassment of a card being declined at a restaurant or store and have to use my other bank card, but I have to take time out of my day to go to a branch for a new one. I'm leaving on vacation, and now worries about not being able to access MY money while on my travels.

Lesson learned. I'm outa here!

i was ordered by zack bouck to get off the phone if i still wanted his assistance, even though the phone call was in correlation to a check i went to deposit. his refusal to verify facts with the company that sent me a bad check was beyond unprofessional. he then left me to sit there, as if he is not there to provide a service to ccu’s customers.

his attitude and demeanor was so cold, and he had not one ounce of respect towards me whatsoever.

i spoke to corporate about it, and thankfully they were able to escalate the issue, and speak to the network manager in charge of his branch.

I have had an account with Cal Coast Credit Union for approximately 8 years and the customer service has gotten worse and worse. Today, I called three times to speak with someone and was on hold for approximately 10 minutes each time before the automated system hung up on me. This is unacceptable. While the people I have spoken with are always very helpful, this automated service hanging up on me makes me want to close my accounts.

usually companies respect their customers, not degrade them. to stick with your own people because they work with you is not professional. if someone gives bad customer service, you fire them. they are to serve, and not attitude at that.

So I sell my car to Carmax & then head to CCCU to deposit the surplus check (while Carmax pays the lien holder, CCCU, directly). So I show the guy my paperwork from Carmax, & then he went and got the manager, who comes over & tells me THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS A RED FLAG!!! Um, excuse me- A red flag? So just because they hadn’t received payment yet from Carmax yet (mind u, this was only the first business day after car sale!), the manager told me all my paperwork & everything looked funny. WOW! You would think they see this kind of paperwork all the time, but they had no clue! This woman was the rudest, most unprofessional banker I have ever dealt with. It’s a real shame, because I had a great experience at this bank the first time, & I like Cal Coast overall- so they need to ditch that *! I think I’ll take my biz to another branch next time!
