Our business has utilized this company for 20+ years. We have never had any issues that were not resolved quickly and professionally. I would (and do) recommend them to anyone needing accounting services. Unlike the bigger companies, C R Hart Company offers a much more personal experience. When I originally contacted CR Hart with questions regarding taxes, I was told that they would always be lower than the big buys doing them. They were more expensive, and did not safely protect my information as a customer (social security number & drivers license of others was always out were anyone could see them). I called three times with a question and never recieved any answer or a call back with an answer, and I was yelled at over the phone for having a question. my husband and I were told and given proof that we would be receiving a high amount and that it would be direct deposited. We recieved a drastically different lower amount (over $1400 difference) and it was by check in the mail. When we asked questions why the amount was so different, we were again yelled at and cut off while speaking. The lack of professionalism and transparency was unreal, and now we have more problems to deal with trying to have our taxes fixed. Don't waste your time or money.

Edit: Months later after having a nightmare with them we were able to get our taxes fixed elsewhere (that was much more professional, clean, caring, did not yell at us if we had a question) and we are getting a refund of just under $2000. C&R Hart told us we were getting a little over $1400, when we really only got $26.

We were informed we would he receiving an amount in February, then recurved a drastically lower amount. When we called to ask about our tax return, he was actively combative over the phone. We went in person, he refused to wear a mask (after we indicated we would feel safer wearing a mask, he declined to put one on and said "I'm probably contagious") and refused to let me or my wife finish a sentence. When I asked a question, he got mad and said he was done speaking to us. I have never dealt with such a lack of professionalism.

Edit: After he read this review, he called and yelled at my wife. I wouldn't go here if he was the last accountant on earth.
