Absolutely the worst place to do business.
Your card member services suck.
I will not be using you anymore.
I am closing my account today and ripping up my card.

I hate banking here.

And when you do get a human, they tell you they completely understand why you're leaving.

Not very fond of this new bank. Used to be USE bank and they had a nice promotion and incentives for new clients and students. Was affiliated with other Credit Unions and did not need to go to the bank directly to make a cash or check deposit from another credit union bank even when did not have an account in those bnk. Bank has limited offices around San Diego. It only has to places to go to and it sucks since I live near Chula Vista and National City. Has to drive far just to retire some cash or deposit a money order. It us a god bank but, the features, the limited offices to deposit or withdraw money or place a check when not accepted in the app, the time constraints and it does not accept money order, due to all this, I wil soon change bank. Only had it because was near school and good incentives. Now there is no reason to be at this bank because tgere is none either chula vista or national city and it is confusing when making a check deposit in app.

Claudia is an excellent branch manager. She is very kind, courteous and professional. Her staff are very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. The Mission Valley branch is so nice and modern. My overall experience was 10/10. Will definitely be returning to this branch for all of my banking needs.

The new branch at Mission Valley is horrible. The lack of personal service is horrible. The people I have dealt with have been wonderful, but access to them has been cut to a minimum. Absolutely hate the new system.
I have gone in prior times requsting notary services, and was told my circumstances didn't fit their criteria to do so. I also went to them with assistance in opening a trust account to handle my late father's trust and was told we couldn't because he 'wasn't a member'. I have been a customer for over 30 years and am sadly considering leaving.

Claudia helped me open up my new checking account at this branch. She was very helpful and answered all of ny questions. She went out if her way to give me a variety of options for what i needed and ended up opening 2 accounts for me. On top of that this is a beautiful branch, very modern and accommodating to its customers.

USE went above and beyond with my mortgage refinance. They were efficient and straightforward through the entire process. Donald Coleman spearheaded the project (the loan had some twists and turns to be navigated), his service and professionalism were truly outstanding. When I visit their branches they are uniformly welcoming. A nice treat after the disregard from my former big bank. I recommend them without hesitation.

I am closing the account I've had for 12 years thanks to my experience with the branch manager in this location. After selling a home both my mother and I were listed jointly on the mortgage I received cash back from the escrow account. Upon advice from their own call center (and having worked there 13 years previously as a teller) I brought the check and a copy of my mother's death certificate. I was refused deposit, even with a hold. The woman was cold, rude, and completely plastic filler faced. The credit union I prided myself in working for has become nothing but a wanna be big name bank full of hidden fees and completely lacking in empathy or kindness.
