This is such a fascinating place. If you are visiting Bisbee for the first time I highly recommend this museum. As I post this it's only $10 and well worth it. It's a Smithsonian affiliate if that tells you anything about how great it is. They have a room that is still original and a gift shop that is tax free!

Wonderful place. Don't miss it! Main floor has history of the town with great displays and info. Upstairs is all about the mining in town. Very interesting and you could get a sense of how life was for miners. This town was THE SPOT in the 1800s. One of the best museums I've been to!

There was a ton of information packed into the museum. It was a great place to get oriented to Bisbee and learn a lot about its history. It also offered a great tutorial on mining including mining safety and the progression of mining techniques. The quality of the exhibits was outstanding and there were a lot of interactive options. The gift shop also had a lot of cool stuff.

This is a great place to learn about Bisbee history and mining. The upstairs part has a display put together by the Smithsonian Institute. There is also a gift shop inside, where you can purchase some gems and minerals, as well as souvenirs and trinkets.

This is a great museum with a lot of history about the mining town of Bisbee. There are a lot of artifacts and specimens of minerals on display. They have beautiful samples of copper, malachite and azurite on display. They have a nice gift shop too. We enjoyed our visit there and we made a purchase in the gift shop too.

We were there to use the research library. Brenda and Dale were very warm and welcoming. Richard had readied some materials for our search. Outstanding library will need to return for more. An outstanding resource.
