I would stay FAR away from this place. All they are- are brokers. Money scavengers. They don't care what they sell you as long as they sell. They know they sell bad policies like from Omega. Car in shop first time over 2 weeks for a 1 day repair. Now it is 5 weeks in shop. Can you imagine? And the owner.... he asks what can he do? Well he is the owner, and he can not do a thing? They are shysters, who will smooth talk you, smooth replies to post, but in the end they are what they are. Unethical like used car salesmen.

I just finished a conversation where I explored several extended warranty options, and I have to say, Robert from Autopom truly stood out. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease, almost like talking to a trusted family member rather than a salesperson. I really appreciate the kindness and patience he showed me. Thank you, Robert, for making this experience so much more pleasant!

The Autopom policy looked really good when I purchased it.. One thing that was not clear was labor costs and costs of parts are limited.. This is not transparent in the policy fine print... My BMW X3 was at the dealership for an issue. I found out that maximum payout for Autopom was $160 an our for labor and $110 for the part.. The Dealerership wanted $265 an hour for the labor and $250 for the part... So $245 came out of my pocket to cover what the Autopom policy would pay for labor and parts.. Autopom uses a statistical average to use as a labor and parts price guide.. The Statisitcs and data come from an independent research company that they probably own or have some type of mutual relationship with.. The data on average labor and parts costs is nowhere close to actual values as of September 2024.. As a result be prepared to pay out of pocket for part of labor costs and parts costs.. I'm lucky there was only an hour of labor on my car.. If there had been several hours and more parts involved I could have been out of Thousands of dollars.. Beware!! Don't get stuck like I did.. Once you are stuck at the dealership, you may be forced to pay a big diagnostic fee, even if you don't have the work done. I learned something the hard way, hope this info helps someone else

Excellent service for BMW owners. Dealer contacted them regarding a repair and they received payment the next day to complete the work.

I saw another post that said "Don't walk away from this company, ..... RUN!!!" I second that for all it is worth. After paying my premium to this company faithfully for many months, I have a wiring issue pop up. with my car and they refused to cover it because a rabbit caused the damage. It is still damage! Damage on part of the car that they said was covered bumper to bumper. They said if something went wrong they would fix the car like New. They left off the "Just kidding part". So, RUN and save your money.

I canceled a warranty to get this one because the sales pitch was that good. I brought my vehicle in to get fixed and it took 2 days for someone in claims to answer the phone, only to be told they only use email. My mechanic could not get in contact with anyone. Once contact was made, I was told nothing would be approved unless the car is sitting at the shop. Had it not took 2 days to get someone on the phone this would not have been an issue. So far I am not impressed with this company. Hopefully they make good on their services.

Update: the claim was approved and the owner reached out to me to let me know they are working on being able to get through better. Super nice guy and with that said, I would definitely recommend this company for a warranty

It's a sham if you ever actually have to go through the claim process it is basically set up to take sooooo long that you will have to give up on the warranty company having to pay for the claim. We were without our vehicle for 2 months waiting for the approval from the warranty company and they still only covered 70% of the cost. So much time was spent on this that it was simply not worth the hassle. Don't bother. I pretty sure that taking as long as they can for an approval is their modus operandi in hopes to not have to pay.

My reply to the owners response/excuse:
I just read your reply to my review which apparently you posted one year ago. Today's date: 10/08/24
Your reply does not excuse the fact that it took 2-months just to get your company to approve the repair which only took the dealer 3 days to complete and we had to pay for 30% of the cost plus the cost of a rental car even though we were told that we had 100% coverage on the transmission. Plus, the only reason it "only" took 2 months for the approval was because we were lucky enough to find an Infiniti dealer that was actually willing to deal with all of the red tape and repetitive BS that Autopom made the dealerships service manager and myself go through in order to get your company to approve the repair. If we were not so diligent in our efforts we would have had to pay for the repair for ourselves since we were paying for a rental car out of pocket while waiting for you to approve the repair which I assume most people have to do which is why you drag the approval process out hoping that people will give up and just pay for the repair themselves instead paying more for a rental car than the actual repair would have cost if you would have just paid for it in the first place. I contacted you personally several times to discuss the issue with you Mike and you did not solve the problem. You came up with a long winded soliloquy "excuse" every time just like your response to my Google review which has already reached 1000 views and has most likely cost your company thousands of dollars more than it would have cost you to to pay for the 30% difference which was a measly $2,800.000 - Poor business decision.
The only reason the service manager and I spent so much time dealing with the ridiculous approval process was because It became a matter of "principal" for myself and for the service manager to not allow your company to take advantage of his or my time the way that you did and allow you to get away with it. I one point I was so embarrassed and frustrated that I finally told him that I will just pay cash for the repair and I will have to sue your company myself so that I didn't waste anymore of his time. But he said that he has worked as a service manager for over 10 years now and he has never encountered such poor customer service from any "Extended Warranty" company as he has with yours and that he was going to do whatever he had to to get them to cover the repair and he did. He actually felt bad for having charge us the difference for what your company refused to cover.
If you would like to rectify your company's poor decisions then send me a check for the 30% difference.
Standing by your product/service should be your only response.

Whenever I needed support or guidance, AutoPom has always been there to address my concerns, lend an ear, offer recommendations, and stand up for me, regardless of how many instances it required. I have received numerous phone calls from the company's owner on multiple occasions.

This organization functions as a middleman, serving as a mediator between the parties involved. They engage in negotiations on behalf of both you and the extended warranty company. Well, that’s what they did for me.

Regrettably, there have been multiple cases where extended warranty companies have refused to honor claims submitted by repair facilities. The extended warranty provider declines a portion of the claim, resulting in me having to agree to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars.

If it's expected to be included, then absolutely not!

Every time, I politely call AutoPom and ask if this is covered, or if this is considered "ordinary" or within the usual range. I have no expertise in mechanics or law. I am familiar with the terms of my contract.

There have been instances where I was mistaken. To ensure my complete comprehension, they kindly clarified the specifics by mentioning the possibility of taking my car to an alternate repair shop, and all my other rights. During that period, they went to the extent of assisting me in locating a warranty-covered shop within my town, and towing company.

They offer military discounts, cover older cars with high mileage, reward loyalty, and paying off your contract early or in full.

I have had two Volkswagens covered through them that both have had over 130k miles and now will be covered with full extended warranties through 250k miles. You won’t find another company that will beat that!
