Associated Income Tax Services is under new and improved ownership! Michael Hawkes has been filing my taxes for years and I’m happy he finally has his own place. Under his leadership, AITS has improved their communication with clients from different generation and background. They are reliable, responsive and professional. There was a lien on one of my filings and Michael quickly provided information and guidance on how to address my issue. It was also a quick turn-around from the time I provided AITS my tax documents to receiving my tax return. This year, I received more return than anticipated for losses throughout the year!! Win win!!

Negative reviews are old and about the past owner. The current owners of this business are top notch, friendly and professional. We have been coming here for a long time and we were here with the prior owner who did finally retire. He was a good tax man but was very difficult (for lack of a better word) to do business with and he must have been even worse to work for, as every year we went and had someone new not just at the front end but also doing our return. But this isn't about the past it's about the here and now. The here and now has a new look and that look is a smile on every face in the place. It's a joy to go in and do our taxes, yep that's right i just said that lol. They are taking new clients i recommended you to take them up on that offer. You will be glad you did. And i want to say thank you to each of you at Associated Income Tax for making tax day alot more fun.

Went to them for years. This year they cancelled our filing appointment the morning of the appointment and said they would do the filing with my document (they didn't think I needed to be there despite my insisting since we had 2 state tax filings and 2 home sales), they made a $75k error on our filing then failed to respond to my many calls until 4/15 when I finally called every 2 minutes until they answered. It appears the taxes were filed that night but we did not receive our paperwork so we do not have the information we will need for our records. They also failed to notify me that we had a balance due for one of the state filings.

Additionally, the IRS has been sending us bills since March 2015 for a 2013 tax filing 'error' that was made by them. I have been calling them for 3 months, have sent the documents to their office 3 times and still have no answer from them about this 'error' regarding a social security deduction they made. When I spoke with them on 4/15, they told me it was not a priority for them and that they would call me back the following week. I have called 5-10 times daily since and still have received no answer from our CPA about the issue. Now the IRS has taken $5k including interest and penalties and from us and I have no explanation from our accountant.

Avoid at all costs. You go to a CPA to avoid the IRS nonsense. But when the IRS is breathing down your neck for an error this CPA made on our tax return... they will not return your calls or messages. RIDICULOUS!!

I had my taxes done on Feb 1st, 2016. I ASSUMED they had been prepared correctly. I started checking "Where's My Refund" after a couple of days to check the progress. The IRS showed no record of them. At which point I called the business to ask if they had gotten any communication back from the IRS, stating that there was a problem. I got NO reply from PAT WILSON. I have called numerous times, trying to get an answer. To no avail. I called the IRS on 2/24/16, where I was told tht on FEB 2, 2016, Pat Wilson, my tax preparer was notified that my return was REJECTED. YES FEB 2, 2016!! Pat Wilson did not contact me, to notify me of this issue. I went into the office this morning, to ask for a refund, and PAT WILSON, slammed his hands down on the counter and refused to give me a refund. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!
