Another one star rating because I can't find zero. Insurance agencies are supposed to make you feel protected, not at greater risk. Woke up today to find out my license has been suspended because this insurance agency didn't follow up on notifying a state that my vehicle was indeed insured. I have to cancel at the last minute a cancer treatment follow-up, and now the next appointment is almost 7 months away

I’m a military member who used AFI for renters insurance. I am no longer being offered coverage due to not renewing in time. When I called, there were no outstanding payments. I was willing to set up automatic future renewal/payments moving forward however I was still declined coverage. Spoke to Jay who was the representative and Sandy the underwriter - both offered no help and resolution. How this issue was handled will be the reason I do not recommend AFI to anyone and why I will happily use another company.

The worst insurance company I have dealt with in about 10 years I insure my homes. In have had two recent issues and both stalemates were grossly low balled. Armed Forces Insurance uses an adjustment company called Primeco Claims Group. They are hired professionals who are happy to blow the insurers out of what they deserve. They should be ashamed to be there for the Giants. When you put in a claim, state what would happen if your home flooded and there are no pictures because you threw those things away because you don’t want the smell to stay in your home and have dishes to breathe those things and be yours a sick family. In trying to claim that insurance laws in your state you should have a photos of the damages. But why is the insurance inspector coming to take pictures of where the water stopped after it dried up in they like that's not evenful. I WILL NOT RECOMMENED ARMED FORCES INSURANCE TO MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS. In they do people who several they country so bad.

These people are insane, they cancelled my policy without telling me then said they couldn't re-issue the policy because of the lapse in coverage that they caused. This is not a veteran friendly company at all.

Had Armed Forces Homeowners Insurance for 4 years, paid on time with direct debit, claims free. They're dropping me due to wildfire risk in my zip code because it's not profitable for them to insure anymore apparently. While I understand a risk involved in insuring my property, I have taken loads of steps to fire harden my home over the years, including fiberboard siding, a new roof, all steel vents with spark block, and abatement 3x per year. Still, without warning, they drop me. I am a disabled veteran and this is my primary residence, and now I am trying to secure other insurance on my home. What sad ending to my relationship with this company and for all other veterans impacted by underwriting algorithms.

After decades of having Armed Forces, they just got fired. Priced themselves right out of my business. My renewal had a 34% premium increase. No Thanks! Went to USAA, much better policy for a lot less money.

Lori Nielsen works at Armed Forces Insurance as an agent to help veterans get home owner’s insurance. She has to be one of the best customer service reps I’ve ever encountered in purchasing homeowners insurance. My understanding is this company’s only focus; Veterans, regardless of the branch they served under.

Nothing was spared regarding exactly what I needed to cover my home, not just a standard policy, a detailed per the state I was going to purchase a new home in. Lori helped me to understand what each coverage was. In particular where each standard came from, and for this house, why one necessary requirement made the annual yearly policy so expensive, $1,000.00 more.

The price she gave me however, ended up being far lower, had more coverage, than 3 of the local “civilian” insurance companies. I will contact Lori again, she gave me her direct line, said, “Call when you need help!”

Thanks Lori, didn’t get the house, but I will call about the one I am staying in. Some of us gave all, Lori has to have been a Veteran, she sure gave her all to helping this Veteran.

They came out quickly to do an inspection of the roof. Now just waiting to hear back from them. They did offer very quick service. If you are looking for an insurance company you can trust, give Armed Forces Insurance a shot. Haven't had any issues with them so far.
