Refinancing my vehicle through AZ Financial Credit Union was a mistake that cost me so much time, money and stress. The poor communication made the process take much longer than necessary. I was upsold on a benefit that I no longer qualified for by the end of the process due to time frame issues, and was expected to contact 3rd party companies to resolve the issue myself. When contacting these 3rd parties, I was again redirected to AZ Financial Credit Union and told they should not be asking clients to contact them on their own behalf, that this is not standard customer care. The issue was not resolved. Lesson learned. DO NOT REFINANCE YOUR CAR WITH THEM.

AZFCU’s customer service is incredible. I worked with Rhytt and Daniel on a car loan, and was continually surprised how patient, helpful and responsive they were. I haven’t experienced dedicated and generous customer service like that in years. AZFCU will have my business for a very long time. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the process, form my first phone call through the completion of the process. Everything was aking the time over the Labor day weekend and I was still able to have my loan completed the day after the holyday.

STRICTLY DONOT BANK WITH ARIZONA FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION. The online Banking system is age old I guess. The Bank will not offere any user intuitive way to bank and wait for customers follow their age old systems and cumbersome process to charge you hefty fee or make you wait for days (like resteting password to pay a payment) and etc. There are several reason you should not buy loan or bank:
1. there is no way you can reste your online account password to pay load
2. even if you have online backing loan account, you can only see you balance amount but cannot do payment to your loan account. the loan payment portal is different.
3. the loan payment portal has another challenge as it does not recognise your loan payment dates, if you pay loan amount after due date the portal will not mention this & take payment, later will charge fee.
4. Customer service is the worse with even cutsomer service perosn trainer well to tell cutsomer that they run age old system and ask cutsomer to follow aged old process.

my simple word, for you pice of mind, donot bank with this bank.

DELAYED TEXTS FOR LARGE WITHDRAWAL ALERTS:

2/25: Just now I'm receiving a text message about a significant high-dollar withdrawal that I initiated yesterday morning at 9AM at a certain retail store. The transaction was posted to my account, fully by the time I had returned home, was completely posted and cleared. So please don't say "it was still processing" as the reason I got the text today.

This is a recurring theme with Arizona Federal Credit Union, and it's the reason that I do not think they have adequate IT infrastructure, theft deterrent solutions, and adequate alert system.

Sometimes I will have a very high-dollar withdrawal, well into the thousands, and will not be notified via my text alert that I have set up with the Online Banking Settings, for several days. Sometimes when I get the alert, I'm so alarmed because I see this big amount go through, and this little balance, and then I look closer, and say "Oh, that was 4 days ago." That time it almost gave me a heart attack.

It is usually 2 to 4 days.

These are high dollar amounts of in-person transactions, made with my card, that are approved and initiated by me, but what if it wasn't?

Other times, I get the notifications as well when my cox, cell phone, and electric bill have posted. Those are sometimes sent in an alert to me the same day as the transaction "clearing" in the checking account, but more often, the routine is again a big delay in notifications to me.

It's annoying, and concerning to me.

I feel that my account is not being protected very well proactively with account notifications and reasonable response/delivery to text messages regarding high balanced, unusual, and uncommon transactions.

AZFCU - please step up the IT Security Functions of your team. Your team in this day and age should have a program capable of providing real time data much quicker than 48 hours later.

This is simply not acceptable, by any stretch, or excuse of the response that I'm sure to get back in a reply of this review.

I applied for an auto loan and while working through the process my loan consultant was Ariel Ortega. She emailed me once through the whole process and when I would email her, she would not email me back same thing when I would call and leave her a voicemail she never answered once. I had to call the other number to speak to someone else. When it was time for me to actually sign she scheduled me for 3, but never told me I was scheduled. I called at 2:45 as I had not heard from someone and they told me I had an appointment for 3. The communication was horrible! I've had 4 other loans with this company all paid in full within a year and this experience was by far the worst! The in store Branch that did the signing was very helpful.
