Being a home buyer can be overwhelming and stressful anywhere you live. But when you live on an island in Southeast, Alaska, there are so many other factors you would have never thought of. I knew buying a house in Ketchikan could be a very bumpy process, and I of course wanted to choose the right relator for the task. At 26, buying your first house is a huge accomplishment, and when I heard of a friend who had just opened a business of his own. I of course had to go and support the guy my age who works just as hard as I do! His name is John Thompson with Alpine Real Estate. He surpassed everything I wanted in a relator in this process of buying our home. Trying to find the best bank to work with, and house for my family was rough, but John supported us through all the ups and downs. He worked his magic and truly found my dream home for my first buy. Now that It has been a month in the house, I still pinch myself every morning thinking it was all a dream. If it was not for John, that would have never come true.
