Wished I weren’t writing this review but I have no choice due to the level of incompetence we received. My husband and I inquired for the parking space over 3 weeks ago — the response to our request took more than 48 hours via email but we figured due to high demand perhaps we could be more patient as I too have worked in property management for over 10 years, still no response after 48 hours is deemed as unsatisfactory in my experience. Upon final receipt of our lease through Docusign we figured we’d have the space 01 locked and ready for usage — a week passed after submitting and no word from either Rosanna and Marjorie despite my 3 email attempts for confirmation upon receipt of it.

My husband calls today since I am away from the country only to inform me that our space was given to someone else and occupancy is at full capacity. Imagine my frustration after receiving this while on vacation — as a former property manager I expected full transparency and accountability for me and my team’s actions as well as the leasing department.

Owner of management is more than welcome to reach me or my husband for further details if need be.

I am strongly cautioning everyone to steer clear of this management group- the hell that is New York City real estate is far easier than settling for any property managed by Accu Trust Capital. I do not typically leave public reviews, but my experience with Accu Trust Capital has been nothing short of appalling (I suspect there is a reason that positive reviews on this page are many years old). My roommates and I have all lived in New York for years, renting with a variety of landlords throughout New York City and Brooklyn, and none of us have ever suffered such negligence and unprofessionalism as we did with this management group. Receiving maintenance is borderline impossible, the landlords are incredibly rude and dismissive, I can’t fathom what we would have ever done in the event of an emergency since there is no management on site and since they are never available via phone, and the property itself was kept in completely poor condition. The only way that I could ensure we would receive responses from management was by threatening legal action, and ensuring that we would receive our security deposit was laborious beyond belief. I have 49 pages worth of emails compiled in the event that we had to follow through with taking this team to court over acquiring our security deposit, each page of which demonstrates the neglect, manipulation, and unresponsiveness that this company operates with. This team acts with zero concern for their tenants, and I cannot imagine an apartment worth suffering their utter unprofessionalism ever again. Rosanna Luciano and Jade Marie are the main people with which we interacted, and deserve their due credit for all of our negative experiences with this company.

It's a good thing the word "manage" isn't in the company name. And it's a shame that the word "trust" is.

If you want to be harassed three times that your rent is due every month AFTER you have paid your rent, by all means, rent from this company.

If you want to live in a filthy building that isn't cleaned, this is the company to rent from.

If you want your maintenance requests closed as soon as you open them, then you found the perfect company to rent from.

I'm now waiting to get my security deposit returned. I filed a complaint with the NY AG's office and will also be filing a claim in small claims court. The final walkthrough yielded nothing wrong with the apartment. I'm due to receive my full security deposit back plus interest. Based upon what other reviewers have mentioned, I'm not the first person this company has scammed and I probably won't be the last.

Unresponsive and neglectful. Pretty sure they don't actually manage any of the buildings on their company website. Not sure what their deal is, but from experience I can tell you that this is not a good company to work with.
Special shout outs to Avrumi & his predecessor Manny for shirking all responsibilities. They're exceptionally good at cashing rent, however. Attached are some fun lil memories of our move-in day. Manny had the gall to tell me that he "would love to live in a place like this" to my face, standing in front of exposed wiring. Also, that isn't even my furniture in the pictures!

This management replaced my old building management a few months ago and they aren't any better. They haven't done anything to control the daily break ins or stop the junkies from destroying the building with their excretion and constant smoking in the staircase (even though it's a no smoking building). The outside of the building is full of trash picked over by said junkies and this garbage and human feces will sit for days unless the tenants constantly complain about it. For $3k a month, our building should be cleaned EVERY DAY! Do better accutrust, we should not have to live in filth if you don't!!!

Tl;dr: Do not ever rent from Accu Trust Capital! They are plain slumlords, and will make your life hell.

I have never worked with such lazy, unprofessional landlords before. We were forced to abandon our apartment due to several concerns, which caused about half of our apartment to be uninhabitable. The kitchen appliances fell apart and became hazardous, the brand new HVAC never worked (the technician told us that it wouldn't work before he even finished installing it - took 2 months and was never addressed), and many other issues.

They have the nerve to continue asking us for rent even though we are actively vacating the apartment. They ignore our correspondence and lie about basic details as if that will cover their active negligence and breach of contract.

Absolutely horrific management company. They took over the former management company in the last month of our lease, which ended in April - it is August now and we have yet to receive our security deposit back.

We have contacted them over 5 times - at every turn, they apologize and tell us they will get back to us within the next week. Twice they have communicated to us that the check would be written to us in the next week. They have lied at every step of the process. Every time they tell us they will reach back out to us, they never do. Every time they told us the check would be sent, asking us to wait for 1-2 weeks, we would call back after said time period (with no check being sent to us) and they would feign ignorance - as if they had never communicated they would send a check to us.

At this point, it has become clear that these people are scam artists - do not trust your money with them.

I have had a nightmare experience renting a parking space from them. It has been almost 3 months of trying to get out of the lease due to the key fob provided not working and zero follow up from management. I called weekly, left voicemails, sent emails and no follow-up on returning my deposit or extending an apology for all of the hassle.

Very unfortunate and I would not recommend.
