I find it interesting that there are no reviews less than 5 Stars. Well here is one. After working with JE O'Kane CPA the original company since 2014, then continuing with Abundant Beans through April of 2021. Mrs. O'Kane was totally unwilling to assist with the transition to a new Bookkeeper/CPA even after stating that she would in a document. I consider that unprofessional and operating under bad faith. These are her own words "We are not professionally, legally or otherwise required to provide services to former clients however we have been kind, patient and willing to accommodate your requests if we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement. " Mutually Beneficial means unless you are willing to pay her a lot of money for everything she is not going to help you. She performed all booking and accounting services under her agreement which says the firm would complete the taxes for the calendar year for which services were performed only to find out that she will not actually do the taxes for the calendar year unless you continue to retain her services for the next year. Always keeping you on the hook for more money. We ended up having to have another CPA complete the Business Taxes even though that was clearly stated as being a part of the Business Package provided, agreed upon and executed.

You might ask, why, if my understanding of the Tacks System is off the chart, would I enlist a Tax and Accounting Firm to handle my tax return? Well, unfortunately, my knowledge is off the bottom of the chart! That is precisely why I have the professionals at ABT&A handle my tax account.

The folks at Abundant Beans are professional in every sense. And they also have a "soft Side". I, being an "Old Dinosaur" have a problem with applying computers to do what I had done for years with pen & paper to submit my information to their skillful hands. This year, I called, on my old fashioned phone, and one of their staff gracefully walked me through the part I was not understanding. In short, they were very helpful, and I got a very significant refund!
