This is the first time I have used this AAA for a DMV issue. I was coming from work and tired. Kristy the teller that helped me was so wonderful and professional, each time I saw her. I did something wrong in filling the out paperwork. When I realize it went back the next day. She was so kind and helpful in fixing it. We’ve been members for over 17 years. l appreciate wonderful Customer Service and that’s exactly what I got from Kristy. Thank you

I called in today to ask for a quote on an auto policy. they guy sounded very annoyed since the beginning. I asked him to give me different options (depending on the deductible) and I could feel his eyes rolling in the back. At the end I thank him and told him I'd call back in case I couldn't find a begger rate..I couldn't even finish my sentence when he hang up on me. Never in my life have I experienced such a rude attitude from someone. AAA please train your people to do better and to treat people with respect. We are trying to do business with you. Be more compassionate.

Please read the bottom of the review for clarification. I have no issue with AAA and I never have.
I have been a member for 25 years. I have worked for AAA as a call receiver, dispatcher and radio dispatcher. No one I knew while working at AAA would have ever treated a customer the way I was treated by the CSR on October 15th last week in the AAA Oceanside office. It would have been grounds for immediate termination. I had a terrible DMV mix-up that was not my fault and I just needed advice/guidance on how to handle it. My boyfriend was with me and said the CSR was treating me like an old lady with Alzheimer's. I explained my situation, of which she had no interest in hearing. The CSR asked me several times if I was sure I had mailed the Title certified mail and each time I answered, yes I had. The last time she asked me and I answered yes, she literally said to me, "I don't think you did." A customer service rep was calling me a liar to my face! I can't believe this woman has a job dealing with customers.
I went home and found the tracking number, and verified that it had been received by the DMV Processing Center in Sacramento on 9/20. The next day, I spoke to somebody on the phone at the DMV in Sacramento who advised me that the "DMV was behind in processing." The DMV woman was very kind and able to provide customer service correctly and efficiently.
I have been in customer service, including at AAA and I would never, NEVER treat anyone the way that the woman from Member Services treated me. I've never registered a complaint before now, but this woman was so rude and arrogant. I don't know how she has a job in customer service when she calls a customer a liar to their face.
I will never go to the Oceanside AAA office again. I would suggest to anybody that goes there and gets Layla to wait for the next available representative.
She showed me nothing but disrespect, contempt and rudeness. Anybody who knows me will verify that I am kind to absolutely everybody, whether I know them or not. If I could give that CSR some of my excess empathy I would, but I doubt she even understands the word. Layla showed a complete lack of empathy. I believe she should not have a job at AAA anymore, that is how angry I am.
Okay I am much calmer now. As a former AAA employee I know they have very high standards and I am not saying that everyone in this branch is not doing a good job, that's not true.
Most AAA employees do their very best to serve their customers needs whether it's for road service or travel or DMV or whatever it is you need. My complaint is about one person, not about the entire branch and definitely not about AAA itself. I think that it is a wonderful business and I am proud to be a member of AAA and have always had good service when I was broken down or needed a tire change or something like that.
All of the drivers that I have encountered as a member, as a customer and when I was a dispatcher have been very kind and very thorough. I am still very upset at the way I was treated but I don't want it to reflect on everyone at that branch or AAA.
Like I said this was the first time I ever registered a complaint I am still not very comfortable having done it however that is how strongly I feel. I was treated so badly that I had to speak up. Maybe she was having a bad day. My Hope Is that she will receive some further training regarding how to treat the customers of AAA and that her service will improve. It is not my wish for anyone to lose their job.

They should have more of let’s see what we can do attitude versus nope we can’t help you sorry without even looking. The lady I dealt with didnt want to look in the system to see if she could help me. Just looked at my paperwork and said sorry can’t help you even if she can’t help me at least make sure the info in the system is verified. I paid to be part of the auto club. The least they can do is look. Terrible customer service.

I love AAA. It is a tremendous value and I think everyone should have it.
I know I have saved money using AAA
My latest service for a battery felt more like a sales call than an effort to help.
The jumper cables he used were so tiny and cheap I would only guess they were designed Ito failed . I will never know if the car could Ed cas l Ed witht vbeen started by someone who Ed realty wanted to start it but it cewas suspicious. I believe this is the only bad review I hage ever written. Went there for help with making a trip with less than 2 weeks notice and unclear on what to do, and Jennifer was super helpful. We were out of there in 20 minutes, including payment. She was so great to work with that we now booked a Disneyland package with her as well, and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, making recommendations based on our needs and wants.
