Very discouraged with the lack of communication. I had an appointment set and was cancelled on and never given a set time just told to try the next day. Then the next day turned in to the next etc. Recently I called to ask about paying my quarterly taxes and what I needed to do. I got a text back that I needed to pick one of three services she offers and when I asked for a phone call to explain the options I never received a call back. Today I expressed my frustration on the lack of communication and that if she was too busy then I would look for someone else. She told me best of luck and thanks for letting her know.
Since posting this Alexis has responded to my review saying that I was not a client. I had paid her over $500 and she had access to my QuickBooks account. I am not sure this is a fair statement on her part. I had meet with her twice and was understood she was going to be setting things up to do my quarterly taxes and this is where the urgency was. She told me we had certain deadlines for filing as a business which being a new business owner was the reason I had paid for her services; to help navigate these issues. I was not being impatient. I had called and sent messages to which I never got a response. I feel inclined to post those messages here so that the consumer can be aware of what was truly said.
Overall, I think she did a decent job of at least setting up the bookkeeping, since that is all she really did so far. I was just disappointed in the lack of responses and especially keeping me limbo for 3 days as to when we were supposed to meet so I could arrange my schedule. I understand things happen and this is why communication is important.
