Terrible do-nothing agent. We got a letter from Farmer's stating that Ruben Herrera's agency was replacing our former one. I called Ruben to introduce myself (as he didn't reach out to us) and asked him if he could try to get us lower rates. He said he thought he might be able to and then never got back to me, so nothing changed. At another point, Farmer's mistakenly canceled our umbrella policy which I discovered months later. I asked Ruben for help in reinstating the policy, preferably retroactively. He said that he would help and that likely, he'd be able to get it reinstated in a day or two. It never happened. Then, the last straw was when we got into a car accident. My partner asked Rubin for help in dealing with Farmer's claims people (i.e. in terms of what to say to them, etc.). While other agents help their clients with this sort of thing, Ruben's response was that his role is just to sell insurance. We ended up leaving his agency and going with an agent who was much more attentive and helpful.
