DO NOT RENT HERE!!! The Anthony is what my nightmares are now made of! , I moved to The Anthony in September 2023 in hopes that It would be a good place to live and call home. When I signed a lease I also had my boyfriend sign a lease there and one of my good friends signed a lease there as all three of us have had horrible experience this year. also many neighbors of mine have had the same complaints. These 5 star reviews are all within days of each other one being from office staff don’t be fooled So many units there are filled with mold my boyfriend had mold in his pantry and we had to throw out $600 worth of groceries and his daughter got sick and we couldn’t figure out why she kept getting sick turns out it was because of the mold The Anthony has held no accountability for their mold issue or the fact that seven months out of a 12 month lease my boyfriend didn’t have a working AC his kids were forced to sleep downstairs on the couch we would be drenched in sweat. And in regards to my unit there’s a basketball court right next to my building the basketball court is supposed to be closed at 9 PM The Anthony held no accountability that a group of guys would be there until 3 AM almost every night with loudspeaker music being loud playing basketball all hours of the night and they would break into the breaker box and turn on the lights even after I personally screwed the box in since the office would never take accountability and do anything they would bring their own tools and take the box apart and turn the lights on and leave them on and there I would be at four in the morning happy to walk outside to turn the lights off getting electrocuted several times I voiced these concerns to Miranda the manager she told me to call the after hours line and report it to maintenance this is not a maintenance issue it’s a security issue even Bexar County that came out there so many times all the police records I have the sheriff said this is on the office and this is unacceptable I was trying to get a rental verification to be out by the month of October one of the ladies in the front office said I told them not to lease to you that you’re gonna lease with us and that you have a balance of 1500 I didn’t have a balance of 1500 I had a balance of 200 and I was gonna pay when I turned in my keys the 1500 was upcoming rent I asked her to please correct that error and to call them she didn’t and for that reason I wasn’t able to secure another apartment before the first came so I was stuck in a month a month $1900 rent payment for a two bedroom small apartment I just lost my job the apartment I was moving to is income base and I wasn’t able to be verified because the office lied and said I had a balance that I didn’t. My unit is pretty much move-in ready and they still charged me hundreds of dollars and cleaning fees and Carpet Fees how are you gonna charge me when I have the unit looking better than when I moved in? They did this to my boyfriend as well. they evicted me because I couldn’t come up with that amount of money in 30 days I have never been evicted and I’m 34 years old and have been renting since I was 18 now I asked to do a payment arrangement Miranda told me no that it goes to collections after 30 days it hasn’t been 30 days I have never been in debt until now I don’t even know what to do I am truly devastated by this I was sexually harassed many times by men at that basketball court missed three days of work because people would park behind my garage and they didn’t have an active contract with a towing company at the time so if I wanted a car towed I would’ve had to pay for it do not rent here avoid yourself the headache and the heartbreak I am homeless and so is my dog All because TheAnthony sent a 6000 bill To collections I am so depressed over this I can’t Even believe this I was a good tenant.
Look at the pics below are my clean unit I cleaned that they STILL charged me Hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees and Carpet fees. The mold one is from my friends unit!

I've never been late on my rent for 5 years, I have every money order since 2019. Somehow my account got messed up and shows a balance I didn't incur. Despite me proving I've never been late, Stonemark has given me a 30 days notice to vacate. Seems like retaliation for sure. I've never caused any problems and have never been late. Based on the reviews I've been reading, they're probably doing me a favor!

I am quite upset. That they would put an eviction on someone like me who is never late on rent for 2 years never had and issues with me. Would do that all because of I have to pay for a treatment that was done and didn't know I had to pay. They are wrong. Now that I am pay it they going to put an eviction out.
I make sure my rent is paid but because I can't pay the rest of the money they going to put and eviction. Why to the person that pays they rent on time every month

Iam current renter of an apartment unit in Horn Lake, Ms. under Stonemark Management. When I say I will never rent anything Ever again under this management group I truly mean that. They have the absolute worst customer service staff at the Avalon in Horn Lake the must lake luster group of people I have ever encountered. They need a better maintenance department or at least someone with the ability to the job

IAM A Resident Of The Forest Meadows Property which changed Management to Stonemark Management.I 've lived here for a year. I transferred due to My Unit Flooding When it Rained & wetting up the carpet due to the hill located behind the building causing Items to mold. Finally I Relocated & First I Had Severe Repairs that Needed to b repaired. I Had To Wait Over A Month Until They Hired A Maintenance Crew.I am Married & I Told them Several Times That Our Main Bedroom Doesn't Have A Door. I was Told that it Was Ordered & I Still Don't have One. I Can't Love On My Husband Due To No Privacy. Also The Property Manager Puts Ur Issues Off On Other Leasing Agents To Avoid Dealing With You.I Also Told them my guest bdrm window needs to b replaced,u can see it wasn't framed correct,So plenty of Rain Came in my window wet the carpet,blinds & the roof is brown,walls stained due to water. I went today spoke to a leasing agent who said the property manager was going to speak with us, That Never happened After 30 mins. Then was told that
the Maintenance Man Would Come Over After One Hour He Didn't Show Up,No One Called To Apologize At All & I Love Next Door To The Office.Wr Was Put Off As Usual,So Never Move Here & Call It Home !!! Obviously SLUMLORDS STILL EXISTS.My Countertops Has To Be Resurfaced , Still Hasn't Heard From Anyone In The Office. REALLY!! But They Want The RENT!!!!So Run Real Fast Away FROM FAKE COMPANIES!!

These people have an apartment complex call Compass at Windmill Lakes in Houston, They Jamie Williamson trying to come up with all kind of stuff to keep my deposit. My lease was up on the 2 of Aug, I did a month to month after that, I told them I was moving out Aug 31, Aug 29 they started charging me saying I was supposed to be out technically I was supposed to have until the 2nd of September , I’m about to take them to small claims court

Would give negative stars if possible! Absolutely terrible management, no consideration or manners from anyone. Waited a month to hear from corporate after being hung up or refused call backs from property. Corporate also very rude, waited so long for a response due to my lease not being upheld and being forced to stay longer at higher rates and fees applied. i never received anything about having to give a 60 days to vacate before my lease ended. When i called management on property about the issue manager was extremely rude and had no empathy. I was able to give my notice 30 days to lease end according to my lease which states 30 day notice is acceptable when a notice about the 60 days is not given. So i NEVER received this notice and yet no one was able to resolve this issue for me and my lease was not abided. When corporate finally contacted me after me trying to get a hold of them by calling them 7 times and putting in multiple cases and complaints and asking for a call back all i got was a measly one sentence email with no apologies and no help. Never asked me for any information about the matter just completely disregarded everything and did not care about my issue. Now i have to stay a extra month at a higher rate!! Manager on property also refused to give me the number for corporate and told me to google it myself! I refused and finally i was given the number after having to argue about it. The. She hung up on me! The worst customer service ive ever experienced, I do not recommend this company or properties to anyone! LOOKOUT HOLLOW is the apartment. Terrible! Advertised as a “luxury” apartment but cant even keep up with regular maintenance and pool is disgusting!

I wish there was a way to give a half of a star. I've lived on one of their properties and when I moved out they were trying to charge me for flooring when I've made several maintenance requests to repair multiple leaks. I've tried to reach corporate on several different occasions. I've called several times and even sent several emails to every person in leadership who is listed on their website. With NO RESPONSE might I add and now they have put these fees on my credit. I figure maybe I'll get a response if I leave a review and I hope it's not the standard reach out to our customer service dept. via email because I have no faith that you will respond to that either.
