Nightmares to deal with. Absurdist policies. House was unkempt when i moved in. Grass unmoved. Trash everywhere. Noticeable interior damage.

□ Each remax is an independent franchise, so it's a luck of the draw..yadadada, all my homiez h8 remax..
□ The RE/MAX at the Old minden locations are unreasonable and corporate robots.
Any tenant strike is "permanent" even if it's not a legitimate offense.

◇ TENANT Strike #1 (FINAL STRIKE)

- Paid just 12 hours past 1st of month.

- Why?
Counted as a strike for being due on Thursday on the 1st. Just 12 hours before I could get Friday's rent paycheck direct deposit like always.
No leniency ever, and they didn't care about such a small discrepency and charged Strike $ 1 of 2 and $45 overdraft late fee for

I informed them i couldn't pay on the 1st. Because I was out of town and I got paid the 2nd and not on the 1st so i got 1 strike of 2 strikes.

◇ TENANT Strike #2 (FINAL STRIKE):

- RE/MAX don't actually handle the payments themselves at all, unless it is a physical money order that you can only pay with after just 2 'strikes' you have no way to appeal of expunge. Even a day late is a strike. No credit card payments for rent ever again for you then apparently they informed.
- Remax are just rude, middleman property thugs, er.. I meant managers.

- Appfolio is hired to collect the money, The person who actually handles the dirty work, erm, I mean.. finances.. is a third party Payment Provider called Appfolio.

- REMAX have told me they apparently have "no control over Appfolio's systems" aside from paying them.
- REMAX verbatim told me they can never remove any marks from my account in their PC. When i said the 2nd strike was Appfolios fault and removing the mistaken strike and $300 late fees would let me live my life peacefully again.
But apparently the company REMAX employs is able to dictate my life more than my landlords that pay them?

- Evictions posted within 5 - 12 days of 5th day of "late" rent payment because I told them I was out of town and was never gonna able to pay when I was 400 Miles away and just had them try to deduct 1500 overdrafting my account and giving me the accidental and strike that says I could only ever pay remax directly with a money order. That's it.
This was 8 months of my first encounter with them. Never again.

The long story:

I already paid over 130% of my rent due bc their payment provider (APPFOLIO).
I was charged 30% extra of my base rent because Appfolio decided to switch their system's new "FlexEgg" flexible payment plan to start on which 1st of the month Monday..
Labor Day...
Flexegg would've allowed me to pay rent weekly so it'd be 4 small payments instead of 1 large bill.

That caused me to get my 2nd 'strike' even though their payment provider charged me 100% rent and 30% on Labor day overdrafting until my next check completely broke states away with no solution or sympathy. Oh, and Appfolio decided to still fully charge auto-pay rent from tneir old system and at the same time start flexible payments for those who signed up

Writing another review because they deleted my previous one!! lol Loved my unit that we rented, HATED Remax and Rebecca!! Absolute AWFUL company to rent from! We rented a duplex, living on the second story. Had constant issues with neighbors below. Drug addicts living down stair, and I know this because the sister was the previous tenant that informed me that her sister was a drug addict. Her and her boyfriend weren’t even on the lease, her mom was the lease holder. They were always moving around all hours of the night! Always blocking our parking spot, but told by Rebeca that “we can’t drive through the grass”. Seriously?!? Then how the hell are you supposed to get out of your own driveway that WE personally pay for and not my mommy?!? Had to call the cops several times because Rebecca wouldn’t do anything about it! Had a crazy wasp issue that she wouldn’t fix. Absolutely terrible at property management. And don’t even thinking about trying to call Matt! Because he won’t ever answer your emails and you can’t access his phone number!
