I have known Ronnie, Rebecca and Sammie for years and I can honestly say that they are honest, hardworking, attentive people with a desire and passion for their property owners and tenants to feel like family and to know they will be taken care of professionally. Stevens Asset Management has been our property manager for the last four years. I wouldn't trust my home with anyone else in the area. The staff is professional and fair and I know that our house is well taken care of. If something is wrong with the house, they call me right away so it can be taken care of at a fair price and as quickly as possible so that our tennants are not inconvenienced.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would give them zero stars if I could. I just finished a year lease with Stevens Asset and from the very first day until the last day they lied about the property, ignored my concerns and complaints, did not perform maintenance in a timely manner or at all, were rude to me and my wife and to top it off withheld money from our security deposit claiming we left the property dirty (which we did not). The company is unbelievably poorly run, disorganized and apathetic to renters' concerns. I understand many of these companies deal with difficult tenants, but in our case we paid each month's rent ahead of schedule, always notified them of maintenance issues immediately, kept and improved the quality of the property and incurred many personal expenses to live in our terrible property. Again, steer clear of this company. Poorest rental experience I've ever had.

UPDATE 3: I would like to thank Sammie for the much improved communication and response times. We have only had a few maintenance request since Christmas, but Sammie and Chris have given their immediate attention to resolving them. It is definitely worth noting that this was a new property for them when we moved in and there were a lot of existing issues with new ones right off the bat. It was a rough time for all of us. UPDATE 2: Oh my, I was going to set this straight in response to what I thought was Sammie’s post then decided it best to let it go.
By the way a very nice and professional response, however a misinformed one.
I have electronic communications from your office stating “the home owners warranty expedited and approved the repairs request, but the plumber won’t be able to do the repairs until Monday (leaving us without hot water for six days) UNLESS he has a cancellation. You’re plumber also told me the exact same thing over the phone. So you see the plumber didn’t get the warranty insurance to expedite the approval... the approval was never the problem and your office knew that as did the plumber. As for Google ... everything changed after the review was posted ... coincidence? Probably not.
I did notice the plumber left a very nice review on google for your company along with other vendors ... it’s just not the same as being a tenant though. Home warranty companies contract with multiple vendors and will work with other vendors in emergency situations.
I won’t even get into the debacle of the oven this Christmas weekend from your office dropping the ball again because the oven did eventually arrive, all be it very late and after our guest arrived. Many, many thanks to Chris for the install so late on his Christmas weekend.

ORIGINAL POST: Run from this management company. It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving and we will be without hot water for six days until their plumber replaces water heater Monday! He is booked til then and this management company did nothing to get another plumber. The first plumber we called could fix it by Friday. We can’t clean the house without hot water, wash dishes or do laundry at home. It takes forever to boil water to get the small bath just warm. The big master tub has been unusable due to corroded jet lines since we moved in, we have never been able to use it. We pay $2100 a month rent and this is one of many incidents they won’t handle, we are only 4 months in to a year lease. They are deceitful, hateful, and assume no responsibility for anything! Always blaming someone else for their negligence. They lack professionalism as well as ethics, and are beyond disorganized.

PJ and Sammy are wonderful to work with and are genuinely concerned to keep my properties rented and assist my tenants in a moments notice. If you are not using STEVENS, then you are missing out on the best company in North Louisiana!
