I have lived here for 5 years now. I have always felt safe and enjoy my experience in this complex. They have the best maintenance team that they have had in years currently. Susan and Barbera go above and beyond expectations to help each resident when and where they can and their team is consistent in taking care of business to the best of their ability seeing as the ratio of employees to residents is 1:133 roughly. They be small but they be mighty!!! Over the years I have watched a transformation of residents and today I am well to say that this complex is peaceful and compliant with the ground rules. LETS GO TEAM MAGNOLIA!!

Horrible place to live. Lots feral cats around the property and they forbid you to feed or give them water. They hate cats! Upon moving pulling our furniture away from the walls, there was black mold half way up the walls! I constantly complained about our apartment flooding and they never made the situation any better! I loathe this place and the poor management!

I have lived here for going on four years now. The staff has worked their butts off to insure that all residents are taken care of in the order of which maintenance requests are received. I am honestly appalled by any one leaving reviews claiming that their business isn’t handled correctly. It is. There are things that are up to residents personally such as caring for this property and not littering LET ALONE LITTERING THE EARTH IN GENERAL. If you use the washing machines and dryers correctly (SMALL LOADS!!!!) then they work just fine. I have seen and experienced overloading the washing machines both here and…. Every other place where a washer and dryer isn't owned personally and THAT is common sense. Do smaller loads of laundry. Also, community machines are not supposed to be used to wash floor rugs and other heavy items. Some people are so disrespectful and difficult because they are ego driven rather than driven by light, life, and love. The staff has seen many hardships and have continued to push through in support of the residence here. They have Halloween goodies for the kiddos, they always have snacks and coffee and their pools are in tip top condition. NOW!! if we would like to discuss the neighboring property of SUMMER TRACE and what a hole in the wall complex that place is then the floor is open for debate. EVERY BUSINESS HAS A SET BUDGET. They do what they can when they can however they can and are fully functional as a cooperative team.

Magnolia apartments was a pretty awesome place to stay. I enjoyed living there with my mom and the managers were always super nice and helpful. I had to leave due to my mom's passing but if I'm ever in Shreveport and need to stay I would go back to then.

Pros:
Generally clean grounds.
Swimming pools are opening up.
Maintenance are hard working and friendly.
Management will try to help any way they can.
Dog friendly environment.

Cons:
There are a few noisy people that have loud sound systems. But it's not often.

The laundry room needs work. The machines seems to be broken all the time. The machines are maintained by a third party.

The livingroom (at least in my apt.) Does not have a light in it. Not built with any source light at all.

Overall:
For the price and location it's a pretty nice place to stay in Shreveport.

This is hands down the best apartment I’ve lived at in Shreveport (and I used to live at champion lake). Management is always on top of the property and I’ve seen maintenance actively clean the grounds. The amenities are very nice including two pools and a nice tennis court. Management has been AMAZING and accommodating to our pet and service animal. Stopping by the office is such a delight and we are always greeted with a warm cup of Joe and our pup gets delicious treats. The grounds additionally have multiple doggie cleaning stations and nice grassy areas for the pup to go on a sniff safari.

Anytime we had something that called for maintenance they would show up the very same day and fixed it. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Do not move here! It seems like a nice place at first, but after becoming a resident you will soon learn of things that will be a nuisance. Laundry rooms are ALWAYS FILTHY accompanied with broken machines! Washing machines don’t drain clothes and dryers don’t dry. You waste money every time you try to wash and dry clothes. The landscape workers leave grass and dirt by your front entrance as well as grass all over the hood of vehicles. This is how vehicles get damaged! There is trash that’s not thrown in dumpsters which attracts cats around complex looking for food. The gates were broken and trash were everywhere! Non residents not invited by current resident utilize the pool, but don’t pay rent or knows a party that resides here who pays rent. They don’t always use great discernment with caliber of people moving here because I’ve experienced neighbors that were unruly!!!!

I have lived here since 2013. I have never seen this place in worse shape! Not a single washer works at my laundry facility! I am making this review from a laundromat! There is trash everywhere. The residents don't even try to hit the dumpster when throwing out their own trash. My apartment is on the fence line of Summer Trace. They kick the boards out of the fence, coming to our property and steal and vandalize. In the summer, they fill up our pools and nothing is done about it!

The dryers never work so don’t plan on having anywhere to dry your clothes unless you go to the laundromat. You’ll have to turn the dryer on at least three times to get your clothes fully dry if you do choose to dry them here. But otherwise that, I like living here! It’s quiet and cozy. The staff is always nice and helpful too. I would recommend to anyone just starting out.
