My air conditioner had broken and they came out and pieced it back together and fixed it because this company did not want to pay for a new unit that the heating and air company suggested be done. The air conditioner broke again and they came out and they told the company that the compressor was shot and the unit was 30 years old. Lexington management told me to keep the air conditioner at 80° instead of buying me a new unit after they were told by the air conditioner company, but it needed to be replaced

Ever sense Maria has been gone, the old property manger this place has gone even more down hill. The ASM Candace is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever meet. She is extremely incopent at handling a simple task or answering a question. When there’s an issue she references email the manager. The manger Shannon takes no issues brought to their attention with any professional courtesy or attention and is just as rude. I cannot wait to leave this apartment after being here for 8 years! Do not move here to Spring Creek Garden Apartments or any other property run by these people.

Speak with Asst Manager regarding issues in a calm and polite manner and told that nothing will be done and if I do not leave the office that police will be called. Did not yell, curse or threaten yet police seem to be managements solution to conflict resolution. Asked when actual manager would be available, " not in the foreseeable future." Try calling corporate office to have unbiased third party and number rings three times and hangs up. Evidently Lexington Asset Management refuses to listen to or resolve issues .

COMMUNICATION is a two-way street that has not been effective in the 3 years that I have lived here. While in between property managers I have not found anyone yet that will respond to an email. I have tried multiple emails and none seem to work any better than the phone call. Elevators are unreliable, parking is not secure as gates are always staying open, laundry room (well, that is a joke as an 11-story building has only 6 washing machines that do not work properly) and if you want to sit in the lobby be careful. The furniture is so old it sinks when you sit down and is shredding. Looks bad.

Over here at Bryan woods. When I moved in, they had already went up 150 on the rent which was understandable. At my lease renewal, they went up 150 more! This place isn't terrible, but going up another 150 on an older complex that doesn't even have a gym or media center just because other newer complexes with more amenities are at that price range is crazy.

The apartment at wasn’t ready for me to move in on August 14th as promised!! Ms. Linda blamed you for that every time I talked to her! Ms. Linda told me that my Apartment would be ready the following week and that I would have to sign a new lease contract for September 1st because the one that I had was now voided since I couldn’t move in on August 14th. I never signed a new lease contract! So the lease contract that I have has August 14th on it! Ms. Linda also told me that I wouldn’t have to pay for August rent due to the inconvenience that was caused! I went to the Apartment with Ms. Linda on Thursday August 20th I was supposed to move in late that afternoon but contractors still wasn’t finished with the apartment. The dishwasher was sitting in the middle of my Living Room, baby Roaches had taken over, plus the window in one of the the bedrooms didn’t have a lock on it nor a screen, the brick walls still had writings on them, and the Apartment still needed to be cleaned!! There was no way I was going to move in the like that!! Ms. Linda left the door open for me so I could pest control the Apartment myself! I spent over $90 in Pest control stuff and went back over there and sprayed and set off foggers!! I rescheduled my move with the movers for Saturday morning August 22nd! The whole time I have been worried sick about my mom who was at home on hospice no breathing well due to her Stage 4 Copd which I told Ms. Linda!! Early Friday morning my mom got taken to the hospital due to her breathing and her not responding to us! The Doctor called me to say that my mom had another stroke! Well that was her 2nd one within 6 months and they told us she wouldn’t make it a week! I met Ms. Linda at the apartment at 567 N Mendenhall Apt. 5 to get my keys and to do my second walk through with her!! Lord behold I still saw roaches, a drawer was still sitting on the Master bathroom sink, knobs on wood cabinets doors/medicine cabinets/drawers were still missing, the brick walls still had writing on them, the blinds in the master bedroom was still broken, the towel racks were still missing and the bedroom window still needed a lock on it so no one could come in and do harm to my kids nor me not to mention Rob us blind!! I gave Ms. Linda those keys back because I refused to move in there like that!! That rent is $900 a month and it’s in a great neighborhood!! Ms. Linda still hasn’t called me yet to saw anything!! I called her on Wednesday, August 26th to tell her that my mom Died the day before on August 25th! I am going to move into my parents house because both of them are gone and I don’t want them house being taken! I am also asking for my $250 deposit fee that I paid to hold the apartment back in June! There were 3 times that I was supposed to move in that apartment August 14th, August 20th, and August 22nd....due to no fault of my own I couldn’t!! This has been very stressful for me!!

Sorry for the long email but I had to explain everything thoroughly!! Please have a Regional or District Manager over Ms. Linda to call me!

I sent the above email to Krista 2 weeks ago and she promised me that I was going to get my $254.95 back sent to me in a check but I have received anything yet!! I am grieving for the loss of my mother and I just want my money back from you all so we all can move on!!

Thank you!

At Nottingham, all of us are due to get booted out at the end of our leases so they can renovate and charge more. No one is aloud to stay and simply pay the new rent. No one even knows their fate unless they directly ask the manager who has recently quit. I found out only because I directly asked them when I renewed, so I have time to search, but my neighbor just discovered she has to be out in two months. Also the guys renovating the units simply yank out all the old flooring, sinks, washers, and pitch them out the back door and leave them. In the front, everything is picked up, but in the back, it's left to mold and draw wasps. I would post pics but I don't see an option, but you can go to my fb and see the video. I mistakenly mention Lexington Property's because a mantainence man once said it that way, but Nottingham Apts is managed by Lexington Asset Management.

We have a house located in this company's Spring Hill Complex:
Here are just two of our issues...

1. I have had issues with my basement repeatedly flooding. I own a small entertainment company and use my basement to store my equipment, but the mildew and mold has done irreparable damage to the covers for some of the items. I have called the 'manager' repeatedly about this issue and all I get is lied to.

2. Our windows were damaged when a tornado came through in 2011. When this company took over the property, we were told it would be 'looked into' then told that it 'wasn't in the budget'. The windows are bad enough that when a strong wind is blowing it moves the curtains... with the windows CLOSED. Keeping the house cooled to 78 degrees in the summer can cost up to $600 on a utility bill.

We have been tenants here for over 11 years. I hope this will be our last.
