Finally gave up on this provider after thirteen years. I shouldn’t have to mentally prepare myself for how unnecessarily rude and dismissive the women who work here are. The second you say something that they don’t quite catch or need to follow up on, the condescending attitude jumps out at you. Maria and Martha have driven me away with their unfriendliness. Customer service has declined immensely and I’m pleased to take my business elsewhere. State Farm rates are fine and are not reflected in my single star review. My coverage has been more than adequate for the past 13 years and the only negative has been this office over the past year or so.

Not sure how to reply to the reply so I’ll edit… My unpleasant interaction was in the fall and I have been extremely avoidant since then because of it. I had a lot of trouble with traveling often and getting my new Drive Safe set up (totally my bad because I was never around my mailbox and was slacking on the set up) but every call I made about only ended in rude, condescending, and unhelpful responses from Martha. “What do you MEAN? What do you MEAN by that?” as if I was spewing utter nonsense when all I was doing was asking questions and looking for a solution so I wouldn’t goof my coverage twice in one year! I am not a perfect customer, but I sure as hell am not rude. More recently I asked if Jesus still worked at your location and Maria answered like I was a bonehead for even inquiring. I have emails from the guy - he worked there in 2018 and I was only curious. He was very polite and I was wondering if maybe a pleasant experience was still viable at your location. She didn’t have to be catty and let me know that she’s NEVER known a Jesus that works there. Just say no, girlie!

That’s as far as I’ll go to justify my decision to leave Statefarm. I’ve had nothing but pleasant interactions with my new provider and also was treated kindly by other offices while browsing around. An unpleasant attitude is not the norm, and shouldn’t be in an industry that is meant to HELP people. At the end of the day, a barrage of bad reviews cannot simply always fall on the customers. The customer is not always right and is not always perfect, but insurance can get confusing and overwhelming and you don’t have to be rude and ruin their day about it!

Recently purchased a home. Martha gave us professional, fast and friendly service to get us the insurance binder very quickly. There is no doubt she is experienced and is very customer oriented. I called this office for a quote. And unfortunately missed the first call. Another woman answered when I called back and Maria had already left the office for the day. I was told that I would receive a call back and no call was received until I called.
My car insurance situation is a little tricky which is why I needed to call and speak to someone in person.
Maria was not helpful and not pleasant to speak with. I will be choosing a different agency to Cary insurance with.
