Friendly staff, speedy maintenance team, 24 hour security, garage parking, beautiful amenities to include a rooftop that’s fun to entertain friends, and electric charging stations! Had a great year and half there in one of the studios. Living downtown was also really convenient on the weekends to grab a cup of coffee, catch the train to the UofA or to have a night on the town.

We had a great living experience at Flin. The unit was comfortable in a 3 bedroom flat and had a nice view of the A mountain. We love the gym and the amenities. The location is excellent, walking distance to restaurants around downtown. Front desk staff were always helpful. The building lobby and surrounding are aesthetically beautiful. We love our stay at Flin. We highly recommend The Flin.

The Flin is definitely a top notch apartment living! The tour given by the front desk employee was satisfactory - she was well informed, kind, and welcoming. Unfortunately, her coworker whom we encountered at the end of the tour, who sat at the front lobby was extremely rude! To me, her ugly demeanor deflated the wonderful tour - I definitely would not want to live in a place where a sour face is the front of my home!

My husband and I toured here with Kelsey few days ago and we are completely impressed by what this property has to offer. It is a stunning property that has close proximity to downtown without being right in the middle of the chaos. It outshines all nearby apartments and is incredibly secure. The only downsides that we saw are that for the price, we’d hoped there’d be a pool and that it wouldn’t cost $180/mo to have 2 cars in the garages. Overall, still very impressed. Kelsey was very friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home.

The mixer on October 17 on the rooftop was excellent. The weather was perfect. The food and drinks were very good. It was a great evening getting to know some of the newer residents and spending time with friends. The staff was delightful as usual!

I was lucky enough to be the very first person to move in to The Flin. There were some issues that first day, but im sure they have been ironed out by now since the staff has more experience and the complex isn't a construction zone. The staff, especially Rose, have been very friendly and emails are answered promptly. The view from my apartment is fantastic and I love the amenities and the overall design of the complex, although I wish there was a pool. There is a huge terrace on the second floor, but only a small part of it has tables and chairs and the rest is landscaping.

My main gripe with living here is the cleanliness of the complex and the rate at which it's dealt with. The trash in my photos has been sitting around for weeks. Unfortunately, there are tenants who think it's okay to leave half filled cups sitting around and to smoke in a non smoking property. I've also seen horrible misuse of the valet trash service. Unfortunately, there is only so much that can about this if it's not known who did it. These messes should be cleaned up within a day, and I've been told grounds are cleaned daily, but apparently the garage and stairwells are not ever looked at. It is sad to see so many cigarettes laying around and nothing being done about it even after contacting the office.

The quarterly mixer on the rooftop was way nicer than what I was expecting. When people say “it wasn’t free, you pay rent,” I disagree. I have lived in my complexes and never had any type of mixer like the ones here. I appreciate the staff at the Flin and all they do for their residents.

I think the flin is a wonderful place to leave. The location is phenomenal. Maintenance is quick and efficient. My only complaint is the thin walls especially if you’re close to the gym. You can hear the treadmill and weights
