My family recently finished a 1 year lease with Southwestern Realty. They are not professional and are very condescending. As of the move out date we had two repair tickets that still were never acknowledged or completed. When we signed the lease they advised they have there own carpet people to clean the carpets so don't get them cleaned. When we received our deposit we were also charged steaming tiles which we already had completed. Also beware they will try to charge you for things that were excluded in the lease. IF YOU HAVE TO LEASE OR SELL/BUY WITH THIS COMPANY KEEP ALL YOUR DOCUMENTATION AND AND KEEP NOTES. BEWARE!!!!!

I have been renting most of my adult life and I have never been treated so badly by a real estate company. After showing us a house for rent, and confirming that we fit all their requirements, we were told to fill out an online application which we did as soon as we returned home. We received confirmation emails that our applications went through, would be processed and we would hear back in a few days. And then NOTHING. After about 4 days I called and left a voice mail for the agent asking for an update. No response. The next day I called again and left another message stating very clearly that I was confused by their silence and would appreciate a call back. Again, no response. I checked my credit card and saw that the payments they requested were never deducted nor were our credit reports ever checked. To this day I have not heard a word from them. All I can assume is that the agent heard my husband’s accent and simply did not want to rent to “our kind” of people. I can’t think of any other reason why they would so blatantly ignore our application and treat us with such disregard.

Southwestern Realty has managed my rental property for a few years now. They've always been prompt on communications and have done a good job taking care of my house. I have no reason not to recommend them to someone looking for a property manager in the Tucson/Sahuarita area.

I have used Southwestern Realty since 2009. I have had great service and felt that my home was in good hands with Ralph Schnelle and his team. If I needed any type of maintenance, they would get the job done at a fair price. I would highly recommend Southwestern Realty for Property Management and or purchase of a home in the area.

They state they accept dogs in there rental as long it's not an aggressive breed. Fail to list anywhere in a public forum which dogs are deemed aggressive, and after I pay for my wife's and my application ($70) they deny the application because I listed the dog as Husky which they deem to be an aggressive breed, and then they fail to respond to emails.
