I have been living at The Commons for over a year, and I absolutely love it! The staff here is incredibly attentive and caring, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience of living here.

A special shoutout to Socorro, who does an amazing job keeping all the common areas, like the pet wash, pool, and laundry, clean and organized. Every time I see her, she’s smiling, kind, and working so hard—she truly deserves recognition for everything she does.

The maintenance team is also fantastic! Nate, Egor, and Tony are always quick to respond to any requests I’ve submitted. They show up in a timely manner and are incredibly accommodating, whether I’m home or busy working. I’ve even run into them around the property, and they’re always willing to help out with whatever I need.

Thanks to the amazing team here, my experience at The Commons has been nothing but positive. I genuinely enjoy living here and feel grateful for the effort they put into making this community a great place to call home.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Nate and Igor for their exceptional maintenance work here at The Commons. They are fantastic handymen who are always quick to respond whenever there’s an issue. This morning, Nate came by to fix my toilet, as the screws had come undone, and he was right on it. He’s not only efficient and work-driven but also a pleasure to speak with—a truly dedicated professional who always gets the job done right.

Living at The Commons has been a great experience, not just because of the wonderful neighborhood but also because of the outstanding services and support from the maintenance team. Thank you, Nate and Igor, for making this a place I truly enjoy calling home!

**This is an update as I go into my third year living at The Commons**

I am just as happy here as when I moved in. The staff are amazing, always communicative and understanding, and quick to respond by email whenever I need anything. Kaitlyn, Ania and Sarah in the office are fantastic and always willing to help with anything. They truly care about the property, and it shows in how well everything is maintained.

The onsite storage options are super convenient, and the laundry facilities are spotless and easy to use. The top-loading Maytag washer is a game changer. I am so excited to sign another 12-month lease and continue calling this place home.

The water pressure in Building D is fantastic, and the hot water feels endless. The AC and heat work great for my studio, and my utility bills are manageable. The location is perfect, with everything from the Pruneyard to downtown Campbell just a short walk or bike ride away. I also love biking on the trail to Los Gatos.

The community is quiet and respectful, and the sound insulation between apartments is excellent. It is easily the quietest apartment community I have lived in. The neighbors are great, and there is a nice mix of people who take pride in keeping things clean and welcoming.

For internet, Comcast can get a little congested in this area, but I highly recommend T-Mobile's 5G home internet. It has been faster for me and tends to have lower latency, which has made a big difference.

The maintenance team here is fantastic. They are quick, efficient, and always handle requests with care. Natanael does an amazing job leading the group and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Living here has been such a great experience. If you are considering making The Commons your home, I cannot recommend it enough.

Jessica in the leasing office could not have made this process easier!! She not only was extremely responsive and knowledgable but her kindness was unmatched. I visited a few other apartment complexes in the area and my interactions with Jessica was a HUGE deciding factor in why I decided to rent at The Commons. She is an absolute gem!

I lived at The Commons for about 2.5 years. I recently moved out and the move out process has been nothing short of miserable. First it was very difficult to get ahold of anyone to give my 30 day notice of vacating occupancy. I was then told that someone would reach out to me in the next 30 days to schedule a move out inspection. I never heard from anyone again until the my 30 days was up, at which point I had already moved out. The email I received was threatening to charge me for every day past the 30 day period. Had they actually reached out and scheduled an appointment to do a move out inspection with me present they would have known that I was fully moved out and was no longer occupying the apartment. Approximately two weeks after moving out of the apartment, I receive a statement from Essex Property trust stating that I owed them 800 dollars to paint the walls and replacing the carpet. Mind you, there was no damage to the walls and nothing wrong with the carpet upon moving out. I have been attempting to contact Essex and the Commons for approximately two weeks now. I have left several voice messages and several emails all with no response. Based on my experience, I would not recommend that anyone live at The Commons or any Essex property for that matter. All they're worried about is taking your money and then they can't even be bothered to speak with they're former tenants or give them a valid reason as to why they are charging them 800 dollars merely just to prep the apartment for the next tenant so it doesn't have to come out of their own business expenses.

I moved out from this apartment and the move out inspection from the apartment building dinged me just for some minor paint charges. However, after I moved out I received a $600 bill for replacing THEIR bathtub, though nothing was said about any damage during inspection. Would not recommend these scam artists.
