I just completed my 2024 taxes with Desert Rose Tax And Accounting. I worked with three people. Firstly Miss Angela, who processed my taxes in a professional and timely manner. She was very engaging and asked detailed questions and I am confident that my return is complete and accurate. I also had the pleasure of working with Miss Q and Miss Lourdes, who were both extremely pleasant and made the tax season memorable and full of laughs. Update: we received email from the CPA on the 13th requesting additional information to complete the taxes. They were submitted and filed. We appreciate them trying to make it right and hope to improve communication in the future.

This has been the most disappointing experience I have had in a very long time. I called at the beginning of March to get an appointment for my son's taxes, and they couldn't get me in until March 26. I normally do them but needed additional expertise. It has now been 2 1/2 weeks, and we have had zero communication from anyone at Desert Rose. I have called multiple times to get an update and have called four times this week alone. Zero. Zip. Nada. Absolutely zero return calls. On the 27th I uploaded all required documents and provided documents during the meeting that were scanned in immediately. I understand that this is a very busy time for them, but wouldn't you think we would have been told that they A. Wouldn't be able to get to the taxes in time, and we would need to go someplace else B. Would call with an update C. Let us know they received the documentation that was requested? Today my son physically went in to find out what is going on. He basically got that they would message the CPA. I have been told that four times this week they would message him, and we have yet to hear anything back. We are now stuck in a situation where we can't go anywhere else and don't even know if the taxes will be done on time or anyone will file the extension. Not a fan at all.
