I needed to make changes with my existing car policy, and so I received various communications from the corporate office. However, they were all very confusing, and then when I received additional letters as well… I was at a loss on how to proceed.
So, I actually just went into the office on Thornydale and they advocated for me by calling Geico corporate, they printed out paperwork I needed to fax, and then faxed it for me. It took the underwriting office more than five days to receive and post my paperwork, but the local agents were in contact with me almost daily to make sure it was handled without a cancellation. It was so nice to actually go into an office, meet with real people, have them listen, and address your needs, and then take responsibility for handling the request! Both Ben and William were outstanding in regards to work ethic and customer empathy.

Apparently Nick the electrician at Great Falls Subaru couldn't reach Mickael to get permission to order a replacement battery. Tyler called me instead. The brand new Western battery was drained I bought in August 2022. Tyler said Nick couldn't get that new battery charged back up. Nick told Tyler to ask me if it was okay to order a Subaru battery. I talked to Chris later and told him to tell Nick to find out what caused that brand new Western battery to get drained. I didn't get a call back to confirm that Nick or Tyler understood. Obviously a circuit board or the wiring harness has a short draining the Western battery. Fix or replace the wiring harness or shorted out circuit board first is what I told Chris to tell Nick and Tyler

GEICO CLAIM ADJUSTERS ARE WORTHLESS AND NONRESPONSIVE

After being in an auto accident in August, in which Geico has admitted that their client was 100% at fault, I was finally assigned a claim adjustor, Anthony Longo, nearly a month and a half later. When we spoke for the first time, he assured me that we would take care of me by getting my car fixed at the location that prepared the damage estimate, as well as securing a rental car for me while my car was being repaired. After three more weeks of hearing absolutely nothing from him, I called to inquire about the status of my repair and rental. He had no idea whatsoever. When I called the claim’s department representative, Annisa Dowell, she gave me the name of Longo’s boss, David Edgar, and assured me that he would call me within 12-48 hours of my complaint of Anthony Longo’s ineptness. Five business days later, I still had not heard from David Edgar. When I called again and spoke with Anissa, I was put on hold and not allowed to talk with David Edgar. When I asked for David Edgar’s boss, James Jones, I was told I could not be connected to him, nor was I allowed to have his phone number. As of this date, NO ONE from Geico has called to speak with me, explain to me what my claim status is, or even made any attempt to try and schedule to have my car fixed. At the end of December, it will have been four months since the accident. Geico’s claim adjusters are worthless.

Great insurance! I just didn't like that they raised my truck insurance. I called to ask why and I had to take a driving class for $12.50 when I don't have any speeding tickets or accidents. That class only lowers the cost for one month that's crazy. So I switched.

After spending much time online trying to get an accurate quote and answers to my questions, I decided to go to the nearest GEICO office to get the answers I needed. So the next morning I went to the office nearest to me located at 6781 N. Thornydale Rd. where I was warmly greeted by Bill Derby. Bill took the time to answer my questions and explained how GEICO insurance works compared to some of the competition. That, coupled with the positive recommendations from my family members who already have GEICO insurance I decided to switch my auto insurance to GEICO and our homeowners policy later when it's time to renew. Of course time will tell if I made the right decision. But in the meantime, I will be saving around $400 a year on car insurance. Thanks GEICO!
