I was referred to Lawrence by a friend and have not been disappointed. I have used his service for several years now for my late parents estate as well as my own. The tax paperwork is very organized when I come to their office and ready to go if anything needs to be mailed. It is all done in a timely manner and their communication is very good, as well. The office manager is so polite and kind. I definitely recommend his service.

I was a client of Larry for over 10 years. I scheduled an appointment to discuss my tax liability since I had recently retired, had worked f/t and was self-employed. The very next week my taxes were ready. I was shocked at my tax liability and had the audacity to ask why it was so high and could he explain. He began shouting at me, cursed at me and told me to get the F… out. Then he walked into the reception area, where a customer was sitting and yelled the same again. No one deserves to be treated or spoken to in such a vile manner. On the bright side, my new tax accountant not only explained why I would pay more this year, my tax liability dropped $1,000. Shame on you, Larry.

Lawrence Pardo, CPA, PC, has been doing our taxes for 8+ yrs. We've yet to see a problem with him or his staff. Yes, he is a little orthodox!
But if he was like everyone else, I would not be going to him.
He came very highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! He cost me over $5,000. I have used Larry for my taxes for approximately 10 years. About three years ago I approached him about a notice I received from my employer regarding past FICA taxes. Larry assured me it was a non-issue and that I should not worry about it. Additionally, Larry told me we could always file for the taxes at a later date. A colleague recently informed me, that the tax issue had resolved. Upon contacting Larry he said he would investigate the issue and work on a solution. After several long brakes in communications that I attempted to bridge Larry subsequently broke off all contact. When finally confronted on the phone was belligerent and said he refused to allow me to, “blame him for something that was my fault.” Of note, Larry had always been very informal in his interaction style. He told he that since I had nothing in writing he had no obligation to what he recommended. I was very disappointed and felt betrayed because I had trusted him despite his unorthodox style for years to handle my families taxes.

First time there. I wanted someone who had lots of years of experience. Someone who knows the ins and outs of the tax system, Someone who understood my situation, displayed confidence on what to do and who is up -to -date on the latest changes of our tax laws. I was impressed! Through word of mouth, the recommendation to meet with Mr. Pardo was given to me by a reliable source and current client of his and I'm glad that I followed up on it.

Extremely poor communication. Attempted to get this gentleman the correct documents so we could proceed. Didn’t return my phone calls, or reply to email in a timely manner- yet was assured someone would get back to me. Ultimately resulted in me being told I need to find another CPA. Lackadaisical service and unprofessional attitude.
