DO NOT use these “professionals”. I dropped off my taxes in may of 23’ Kim let me know that it was going to be a process which I understood. 8 months later I reached out via email. And then a phone call. Got NO response back. Again a month later I was told Kim was out “sick”. I was again very understanding. And asked when she returned to contact just to keep me informed on what was going on. AGAIN NOTHING. This is when my frustrations grew. I started emailing and calling and continued to get NO RESPONSE. Mind you this is almost TWO YEARS later. My last attempt I called and they told me she was out of the office. So I asked my other half to call and see if he could use a fake name a get through. SURE ENOUGH KIM ANSWERED HIS PHONE CALL. Little did she know I was on the other end. I was livid and she was utterly rude and tried to blame me for her NOT DOING MY TAXES. UNBELIEVABLE. I’ve read other reviews and let’s just say I’m not the only one they have done this to. apparently they do it on their own time regardless. Sounds to me like they are in over their head or scamming people. Please save your time and money. These people are so UNPROFESSIONAL.

Kim Schnell relinquished her CPA license in response to disciplinary action from the board in 2023. She has since been practicing without a license and is deliberately misleading clients who believe she is a CPA.

I made the mistake of working with this company to have my taxes completed this year. By April 15 they still had not filed them; when I called to ask if they would be completed in time, Kim yelled at me. She was extremely rude and actually claimed it was my fault that she had not started on them yet. I had sent her my documents mid-March and if (as she claimed) this was too late, someone should have told me that at the time. Instead, there was little to no communication and they simply didn’t do them. I had to file an extension myself and am now working with an accounting firm that is actually licensed.

This business treats clients terribly and is simply not trustworthy. Stay away.

Terrible customer service. I have been waiting for my 1099 since January 31st. They stated they sent out the 1099 late (02/07/2025) When I asked where Kim sent it, she replied with a rude response and in ALL caps that I needed to be patient. It is now 03/10/2025 and I still don't have what i need to file my taxes

Do not use this company to deal with your tax issues!
I dropped my parents' taxes off the second week of February, and I now just got them back...over 3 months ago. I started contacting ATB the last week of May with 2 emails and 3 phone calls with messages to return my call. No attempt was made to contact me. After I emailed Kim (the owner) and threatened to call TPD and PCSD and a Lawyer, I received an email with an excuse. Kim said that she had been out with a medical condition for three weeks and that the office was also short staffed. Yes, I understand...but what about the other 8 weeks that you at on my parents' taxes? Also, an extension was filed with Federal / State without my parents' consent. I'm not sure if this is even legal and am looking into it. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am in process of contacting the Fed /Az tax boards. So, after 3 months of dealing with this company, I am done with ATB. Too bad because my parents have been getting their taxes done here for the last few years. They recently moved into a bigger space due to their business expanding, obviously they have too many clients now as their customer service reflects that. Kim's answer to this is to just ignore her clientele, their taxes will get done at HER pace. Beware of ATB...you will be sorry!

Kim has been doing our taxes for the last two years and we’re very satisfied with her service. We used to use TurboTax but I felt that we weren’t getting the best return possible. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable and up to speed with the latest tax laws. Her prices are reasonable and the peace of mind you get from her service is an added bonus.

Absolutely horrible business. I worked with Kim. I was told she was filing extensions and eventually couldn't get ahold of her. I had to go to the business myself and ask for my paperwork back. Didn't get an explanation or even an apology as to why my taxes weren't done. I was just handed back my files while they walked around barefoot. Not that it matters, just very unprofessional.
