Overall, a good title agency. Our builder requested to use them. I am not a fan of some of the political stuff they put up in their office. Its tacky and not very professional. Otherwise, they did their job well and I would have no problems using them again.

I am reluctant to write a review but I feel like my feedback helps in the long run.

I was the buyer in a vacant land transaction. After asking multiple times for the same thing, I started counting: I asked 5 times for a missing parcel to be added to the paperwork, 4 times for them to send the wire instructions, and 5 times for them to fix my mispelled name.

After the deed was recorded, I didn't receive any sort of conclusion email or call (just a packet in the mail a week later). Whie reviewing the packet, I noticed an error in the affidavit they recorded and I sent an email asking about it. I still haven't received an email back and that was last week.

I'm wondering how their physical office is setup since it's pretty clear they're not communicating with each other. I wonder how many things could be solved if they walked across the hall or picked up the phone to talk with each other. Many times I was the medium in communication between different employees.

I'm hoping their poor service is a result of extreme busyness and an overwhelmed atmosphere due to the high volume of real estate transactions. If so, then all the title companies in the area will receive similar reviews. If not, then this review hopefully helps them to improve.

We have worked with four different title companies this year, for buying and selling, both residential and commercial property. After working with NET Title, Magnus Title, Pioneer Title and Chicago Title, I can say without hesitation the other three set a higher standard and provide better service and we would NEVER ever recommend Chicago Title to anyone. Very unprofessional. They aren't knowledgable or helpful. Waiting two weeks for an email reply while you're trying to close is completely unacceptable.

Staff was very personable. We met to sign the docs in the morning and they worked hard to complete the process so that at end of day we could have the keys to the property. We would definitely use them again.

I'll never deal with them again. Poor communication, lack of personal contact and unorganized control of the front desk. Hard to get someone to answer the phone in the local office. Nope...not again...I sat 30 minutes in the office waiting to pick up papers that were supposed to be ready....after being told they were there waiting, I drove over to get them and the secretary knew NOTHING about them.
