How do you lose a customer of 11 years?

May 2024, somebody hit-and-run my beloved car in the parking lot while I was at the gym. They left a 9-inch gash and disappeared. I immediately informed Allstate, who DENIED my claim. But that's not the most despicable thing they did.

In August 2024, I discovered that despite denying the $2,200 repair, they secretly DOUBLED my premium without telling me. DOUBLED it.

I did the only reasonable thing: I emailed them 3 times over the course of a few days - to no response - then called them up to cancel. They LIED on the phone, claiming "the premium is cheaper than it was before", and other nonsense.

If you're a current customer: switch. If you're a prospective customer: avoid.

That's how you lose a customer of 11 years.

Anytime there was a problem Allstate walked me right through it. I needed a rental Allstate was on it fast. My car was totally total out. Boom Allstate to the rescue fast. So what more should you be looking for. Allstate is the best in my book. You are definitely good in Allstate hands. 🙌

Jacked up Rates after Six Months by $600 a year and it was not even mentioned at the time of signing up that we were supposedly getting a New Business discount. Looking for another company to do business with. Avoid at all costs.

I also refer to her as "Joni from Allstate" because she will give "Jake" and "Flo" run for their money....

Don't go with these people, I got billed twice from them for the same period and when I talk to over the phone they told me that bill comes from their customer care office and he is not responsible to that bill even though in the bill it is clearly written that the bill is from him. don't go ,very greedy they will give you a quote and after you paid for full 6 months will send duplicate bills of the same and will threaten it will go to collection, if you didn't pay
