My Erie Insurance agent retired and I was looking for a be agent. GSP said my policy could not be transferred to a new agent and required a new policy.
Good thing I looked around because the next Erie agent I spoke said a transfer is possible. I was able to transfer my policy to a different agent just in time for my policy renewal, and no rewritten policy!

I worked with Kim and Gilles Smith Purdum when we had a change in the level of insurance we needed. It required more expertise than what we currently had, and we were struggling to find sufficient coverage on our own. We hadn't worked with an agency before, and Kim was very helpful in explaining the process.

She quickly found multiple policies that met our needs. In reviewing those, we were able to select one with more thorough coverage, and at a lower price. The whole process took just a few days, and saved us a lot of work in continuing to do this by ourselves.

Gilles Smith Purdum is by far one of the best companies I've ever worked with. When I first went to them I had a pretty straight forward policy but over the last few years I've had several issues and changes come up and they made everything so easy! Matt is always so helpful and on top of things. It definitely speaks volumes about a company when they continue to provide excellent customer service and products even during the messy times. Seriously can't say enough about this wonderful company!

My father hooked me up with this insurance agency when I was 18. I'm now a few decades older and they still are some of the most helpful people to work with. Customer service has changed over the years and many are too bothered to help. Sometimes their willingness to help over the years has slightly frustrating when its a new person and I like to not have to explain myself and work with someone who already knows me. Yet, it shows even the younger, newer employees are helpful, and that I need to be patient.

Excellent service pre and post sale. I felt like my opinion was valued throughout the entire sales process, my rep (TJ I believe?) consulted me on what I was looking for before suggesting any product/provider. I have had to reach out a few times after my policy has been in force and have received extremely prompt and courteous service.
