I had an absolutely terrible experience with Valerie Hohman. I suspect she didn’t even file my taxes until long after the deadline, which is completely unacceptable. She also forgot to file my state taxes altogether, something I only discovered later—unbelievable for someone who calls herself a professional. On top of that, she is nearly impossible to get ahold of. She rarely answers the phone, and when I left voicemails, I almost never got a call back. Her lack of communication and carelessness caused me so much unnecessary stress. If you’re looking for someone reliable and responsive, stay far away from her.
