We just worked with Ryan H. at the Norton branch on a new truck loan. He previously worked at automotive dealerships and knows the business from that side as well as from the credit union loan side extremely well.
He was able to give us tips, websites to visit and other knowledge which allowed us to "do our homework" before negotiating with the dealer. He's BEEN the dealer before, so who better to KNOW exactly how best to bypass the pitfalls of negotiating and also how best to finance a vehicle? With his dealership background, he is the perfect advocate for the consumer who usually does not know how best to buy a car and get a fair price.

As a result of the knowledge he shared with us, we were able to save literally thousands of dollars and got much, much more for our trade in.

One tool he suggested was a web site which told us how many days the dealer has had the vehicle on the lot. That let us know how willing the dealer might be to deal since, after 30 days, dealers have to start paying interest on the vehicle and are more likely to negotiate the price down just to sell it. In our case, that number of days was 32 days on the lot. As a result, we knew we could negotiate and that the dealer would likely be willing to work with us just to get it out of his inventory. He did and that saved us so much $$.
Thank you to Ryan for going above and beyond to not only get our loan processed quickly and smoothly, but for the valuable knowledge you shared with us. What an outstanding background you have to assist those of us who just want to get a FAIR price from the dealers. YOU are five star!!

Mario and the team of tellers are always friendly and helpful. I have been able to open a savings, a personal loan and now a HELOC, since I bought a home. The rates have been very fair. The website is easy to use and the inside of the Norton, Ohio branch is open and has a modern decor. Very happy with NH FCU.

I'm very frustrated that the ATM at this location is constantly "temporarily unavailable". I have had this inconvenience about half a dozen times over the last month. Usually when this happens, I can just go inside and withdrawal money instead, but today since it was down before they opened at 9, and I had my baby with me, I was not able to go inside and had to go pay an outrageous ATM FEE at the gas station instead 🙁
