Erie is the best insurance policy I have had. Kelsey is my agent and she is so helpful, informative, and responsive. The rates are inexpensive, and every experience I have had with them has been so smooth. Today, I had to call the tow company because my car wouldn’t start. The tow truck driver got here in less than a hour, came and was so polite and helpful and just pleasant! It’s so nice to know that I am working with a company I can rely on. Recommend them 10/10.

These agents are available at any time to assist you in any way. From buying my house, to us getting 2 new cars, and a few deer collisions, they were on the phone getting policy’s and claims made right away.

With our deer collisions, the claim got put in immediately, car went to the repair shop recommended by Kelsey and Melissa, the agent set up a rental car for me and organized the meeting of the claims adjuster at the repair shop so it got taken care of and I didn’t have to stress. The car got repaired completely, done quickly, stress free, and they answered all questions we had. I would highly recommend!!

I also discovered that a new vehicle I was assured was added to my policy hadn't been. And this was after I'd been driving it for two months.

Checks and important documents were mailed to the wrong address for a year without me realizing and then continued to be mailed there for months after I discovered the address discrepancy despite MULTIPLE attempts to have her change the address.

The list goes on...

Anyone else on the team is great and provides great service, but Melissa herself is a hot-mess. Finally asked her to cancel my policy in Sept and surprise-surprise, she never responded to my emails or calls. One of the other teammates finally responded and took care of things for me.

One day my ex-wife told me we had a new insurance agent. Another day, several months later, my ex-wife decided to become my ex-wife. The events that followed can only vaguely be described as chaotic. Southey Insurance and my lovely agent Kelsey were my first call. I learned several things from that call, first of which was the definition of compassion. Second, were some important rules regarding notifications of being removed from an insurance policy and liability. Third, and final, was the meaning of conducting good business.

As an employee of a real estate firm, which technically means I am an employee of the people, I couldn’t recommend a better insurance agency in northwest Ohio than Southey Insurance. Melissa and Kelsey are fantastic human beings, but better insurance agents.
