Took Forever to get our taxes done. When I called to inquire after a month, they were very rude. Even though they had our taxes for nearly 6 weeks and we had Zero communication from them. They didn't go over it at all when I picked them up. Didn't ask whether we wanted all electronic filing and then wanted to charge more if not.
Will never use them again.

Jones and Company have been doing my taxes for over 2 decades and I have grown to trust them explicitly. They are hard working and have always gone out of their way to help answer any questions I might have. Ben Simmons has been doing my taxes the past few years and he has been great explaining things to me as the tax laws have changed and how they may have affected my returns. I strongly recommend Jones and Company and Ben Simmons to anyone looking for an Accounting Firm!

This is the third year working with this firm because they bought Switzer and Roy (an excellent tax accounting group who we worked with effortlessly and successfully for 30 years). Ben Simmons was assigned to us and three years ago, due to lack of any communication from him, we found someone else in the firm to complete our returns. Last year though with little to no communication, he completed our tax returns “with an extension”. As I write this today April 12, I have had no response from him despite numerous voicemail messages and email communications. Their “I’m only admin, not an accountant” person who answered the phone yesterday said she could check the status of our returns and told me our file says “waiting for info”. I immediately emailed Ben Simmons asking what info was missing and have heard nothing. Ben Simmons received our paperwork in mid March-The tax filing deadline is Monday. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECCOMEND Jones Tax service. Three years of terrible client communication, terrible service and reading some of the other bad reviews, who knows what type of errors. Switzer and Roy were the consummate professionals-unfortunately though the company still bears their name along with Jones now. Don’t be fooled. There is no hint of Switzer or Roy left-it’s all Jones and it’s terrible.

My husband and I have both had consultations with Ben regarding our businesses and he, as well as the other accountants in the firm, are very knowledgable and incredibly helpful! We have had some light bookkeeping work done as well. Becca always greets us with a smile and makes us laugh when we walk in the front door. The environment is wonderful and I have had an amazing experience with this company.

Would not recommend!!!!!

I used them for 10 years. Each year I would spend a couple days preparing spreadsheets to aid in their tax prep. Because we moved in our new accountant pointed out that Jones company was not using my expenses to offset my taxes, especially with regard to my personal vehicle usage expense for business purposes. I trusted them since they are a CPA firm. No more! Their lack of communication and lack of detail especially with the errors I unfortunately just discovered makes me happy that we chose to move on.
DO NOT USE THEM!!

I found this firm to be unprofessional and lacking in the desire to communicate and answer questions. Getting return calls was nearly impossible. Getting answers through email was equally difficult. When they did answer it was usually very vague and also condescending like they were the accountants so just trust them. My new accountant found at least one rather large deduction they did not take for me last year and likely in the two years before as well which tells me they are not working hard on my behalf and for all that they are expensive. I would recommend against using them.
