My experience here has been disastrous. I don't doubt their intentions at first were sincerely to help me out during a desperate time in my life. However mistakes were made and I somehow ended up racking up 1300 in fees. I spent the last 300 dollars of my check with a promise the funds of my loan would take 24 hours to process after this final fee. Because my case was taking longer than intended they paid me in crypto currency. I'm not an expert, but after some research I found out that I was given the loan amount in a coin that first of all isn't tradeable on the platform they told me to revieve it and secondly has a price impact of 99.99% no matter what you convert it to. In short the coin is basically no different than if they decided to pay me in air. Because I couldn't withdraw the funds I was asked for yet another 600 dollars to initiate the refund for the crypto transaction. I already paid an extra 300 in this process, which I was told would be refunded eventually and asked them if they would take that. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to take it, however still requested the other 300. I have no more money and I gave up that last 300 in good faith that what I was told was true and my loan would be there the next day. No amount of I don't have any money got them to budge, so I made an attempt to convert the funds they gave me in crypto. I got to find out first hand that everything I read about it was true and the fact that it was a financial managers decision to pay with that coin is unbelievable to me. Once they found out I attempted to convert the funds they told me I'd be receiving 2000 less and they would pay 1000 out of the 1200 fee required to get the funds back, leaving the last 200 for me. That sounds real heroic, when you overlook the fact that they would not credit the extra 300 I paid. They claimed it as part of their portion since I agreed to use it when we were splitting it 50/50. Out of the 1300 already paid my dad has helped me with 500. I told him that this would resolve the issue and thanked him for trusting me. He doesn't know that since then I've paid three more unforseen fees and am now being pushed to submit one more. They claim they're frustrated too and are taking a 2 grand blow because of this, and it's hard to feel sorry for them when that three hundred they decided was part of their portion of this last payment was intended for groceries this month. I'm accustomed to business working in a way that if the problem is the fault of the organization, they do what they can to make the problem right and recover from the blow. However I was put in a position where I had to contribute everything i had and more to assist them in putting out their fires. I didn't ask to get paid in a worthless coin and the first 500 I've paid out of the 1300 they've gotten from me was promised to be a one time fee. That's a huge mistake on their part, and when a client has to suffer from a company's mistakes to the point of sacrificing meals, hurting their credit score, facing eviction, and undergoing the stress of trying to make the next fee they ask for appear out of thin air, you'd think they would pay this last 200 and take responsibility for this. I'm embarrassed to ask my dad for this last bit, but he's the only person in my circle that can afford it; I hate that I have to tell him I put up with this and just like every fee I've paid, I have to trust that they mean it this time. We're approaching a month of this process, and this has been a humiliating few weeks. I'm not the kind of consumer to throw a fit for what they want, but I need to acknowledge that none of this was okay. And putting up with this as long as I have has messed with my head and I guess that's too inconvenient for them to acknowledge.
