I set up an authorized recurring payments for an auto loan, and they never went through. I got a call saying I was behind two payments and made them over the phone. The following week I got another call saying I was behind, and I told them that I had made the payment, gave them the tracking number for it, and confirmed that it came out of my bank account. They continued calling at least once a week for two months to collect the debt, never having any record of the previous conversations. I left two unanswered voicemails with member solutions, I actually got through to them once and was assured things would be figured out, none of it mattered - every week I got more calls saying I was behind and needed to make a payment. After two months and a fifth call to member solutions (usually speaking to annoyingly rude customer service agents who assumed everything was my fault), they found out that a payment was charged to my phone number instead of my account number - 100% their fault.

So they screwed up, then they harassed me during working hours for two months, and if I hadn’t been so sure that something had gone wrong on their end I would be out two car payments for nothing. At the end of it all I didn’t even receive an apology, and they refused to confirm in writing that my account was current.

For this to happen with a financial institution is just bafflingly irresponsible and APGFCU should be ashamed - the amount of my time (during working hours) they wasted because of their screwup is unacceptable. If at all possible, bank with somebody else.

I asked if they could help me get a stack of cash for my daughters wedding. I wanted to get $300 in ones and then put a $100 bill one each side and band it. They said "No, you're not a member." Ok, i get that but i JUST asked about becoming a member and i said i would pull the $500 out of the ATM, they told me no. If you want members or people to be interested in becoming a member, try being nicer and helping the general public.

I’ve had nothing but superb experiences with this bank since first joining over a year ago. They have always been exceptionally helpful, and have always treated me like I am a valuable customer. They always take whatever time is necessary to answer any questions I have, and even ask me questions to make sure I didn’t forget or miss anything I need to know. When I call their customer service line, I always speak with someone who I have no problem understanding, and again make sure all my questions are answered even if it takes calling my local branch so I don’t have to. If we could trust the rest of the world and feel confident in only using one bank, I would bank at APGFCU.

Branch hours are inconvenient. Customer service by phone is horrible, you will be on hold for hours and people who you speak with are rude, unhelpful and have an attitude, don't want to help with any questions you have, very bad customer service. And don't even try to make sense of their online banking. It's a joke. Bank somewhere else, anywhere else but this institution, save yourself some time, money and stress.

Had a great experience with Shawn Stadter, Assistant Branch Manager. I opened a new Business Checking account, and he was professional, great with answering all my questions, and was able to have me completed all my paperwork in less than 20 minutes. Branch is in a good location and convenient. The drive thru tellers have always been nice and I've never had a single issue with this location.

I’m not sure why there are soo many bad reviews here🤔 this bank is great! I’ve only had the pleasure of going to this branch but the experience has always been pleasant. I’ve been with APGFCU going on 4 years. Never had a problem. Only been inside 3 times total. Each time I was greeted with by genuine people. This bank has been super helpful with my financial journey! Thx!
