I have been with Peoples bank in another county n later here in Chestertown for over 20 years . My family was with them even longer. None if us have ever had a bad experience. The service is always kind and fast and personable.

Went thru drive thru at this bank location I had 2 checks 1 I wanted to deposit the other I wanted to deposit some and get the rest back in cash but the first lady saw the little amount her eyes went wide open for a second she even had asked me for I'd and I lift the envelope containing my account number asked if she needed that to if the id wasn't enough she showed another teller the check and she comes up and started I can't cash this because you don't have the funds to cover in your account. I said I go to another location and get it done the same way with no issues. I said just give me the check back I'll get it cashed at another location and I'll be going with another bank. I have already started the process and this is how chestertown branch treats me when I have no other choice to go to that branch on Saturday. I have bills to pay not everyone is a scammer this branch needs lessons in manners and get there eyes checked they could have brought my previous checks that was deposited was good but no they wanted to argue and quote policy and now I have bills late thanks to this branch I can not wait till Monday to open my new account at my new bank. I have the deposit slip from the encounter if the bank uppers want to take action. But I am still going elsewhere
