I used HDA for the entirety of the 10 years I owned my dental practice. They run a great service.

I especially liked their Practice Profitability Analysis report that would send out monthly. In just a handful of minutes each month, that report allowed me to keep a close eye on the vitals of my practice to ensure everything was in check financially. When I sold my practice, nearly every perspective buyer I sent the practice profitability analysis commented on how great the report was in terms of clarity and ease of viewing the key financial information from month to month.

If I ever own a dental practice again, HDA is who I would use again.

Stay away and save yourself tons of money. Had an awful experience with them. I trusted them with my dental offices accounting and bookkeeping and paid their high monthly premium and high fee for tax filing. After 1 year I realized they failed to send form 2553 to IRS and they kept that information from me. After following up I found out that they faxed the form to a wrong fax number!!! Haven’t heard something that unprofessional in my whole life.
On top of that, they were very very unresponsive and condescending about the feedbacks. Stay away

Super happy with HDA accounting over the past 2 years. They guided me through my start up dental practice with not only accounting services, but also lots of wisdom from Morgan's many years of experience. HDA has been super attentive month after month and has helped me lower my tax liability substantially. I've been using them for about a year and they will not only break down my numbers monthly but give me an idea of how those numbers stack up against other dentists in my area. This has helped me catch trends I wouldn't have seen before. An example is my dental supplies expenditure jumped. I thought it was just because the cost of supplies went up with covid. Yes... but mine went up about 30% more than the rest of their practices. I wouldn't have seen that without their insight. So far, I'm super impressed!
