Dennis is a nice guy, the problem is the company he runs is very unprofessional. I meet with him last summer for an hour, not as any sort of tax consultation just for general questions this apparently costs $250. Now 10 months later, I get a "courtesy" call from them saying I'm about to be taken to collections. I have not heard from them since the meeting. Second, I understand that they bill after the fact, but they never discussed what the cost is, there is not indication of pricing, especially for someone just asking general CPA job questions. Third, the address that they have been mailing my bill to for the last 10 months is not my address (its actually no ones address) so I was never receiving the letters. A simple Google search would have shown you that the address they have does not exist, they did not try at all to reach out or follow up at all. There is no reality where any of this should have happened in a well run business. I don't even care about the price or billing, it's the fact so little effort was put in. So if you are looking for a CPA, I would definitely look elsewhere. Dennis is a nice guy, probably has an idea what he is doing, but it's not worth it there are other CPAs. I've had my taxes actually done for less than me sitting with him for an hour.
