Overpriced, Impersonal, and Vindictive:

I had been a faithful customer to Suzanne Trimble for 8 years. Because her services are very expensive, I chose to obtain a rough cost estimate for my 2013 tax returns prior to making a decision to continue using her services. After explaining my 2013 tax situation, she gave me a telephone quote of "something less than $500.00." After the electronic filing was completed, I received a $1,100.00 bill. I complained, and after some back and forth, she reduced the bill to $800.00. (She had blamed the erroneous quote on her difficulty to keep track of 500 customers.) This is where I feel that she missed an excellent opportunity to keep an old customer happy, by honoring even an erroneous quote.
As if this was not disappointing enough, she then posessed the audacity to fire me as her client: In writing, she stated that, because of her workload, she would no longer be able to "provide me with the services I require." So until this country finally adopts a flat tax rate, I shall employ turbotax, while feeling sorry for the other 499 clients.
